meh it was childish

The 1st one was completely nonsense, a yellow for time-wasting while players like Dennise O'Sullivan was "asking" for a yellow since the start of the match with her reckless and violent behaviour but only got a yellow when it was clear she was not going g to stop till someone was hurt. Sophia's 2nd card was deserved, her action trying to hide the ball below the bench was completely silly.

@@omargj1Sophia definitely will say that wasn’t her intention. It was a petty card by the ref when it was 10 minutes stoppage time and we were approaching 12. She literally blew the whistle like a min later. Poor card to give when you know it’s a red. She lost complete control of the game and got petty late. Sullivan was allowed to foul freely and only got a yellow after her third or fourth one. Chesky had a terrible game

I agree it was she hid the ball under the chair and got a red card is a joke. Without Sophia next game we might lose to Seattle who are a terrible r team right now.

@@iansoberano5103 We shouldn’t lose to them but I just haven’t been impressed with the team’s scoring outside of Soph. We still live and die by her. She still doesn’t have a consistent running mate or #2. Thought it would be Weaver but she has yet to emerge as a goal scorer on that level. Maybe Linnehan in the future? Liv is good but needs shots created for her. She doesn’t have 1v1 talent and that’s what’s missing outside of Smith. Thorns have to add a #2 next season

Pretty obvious call, really. Clear contact, colearly inside the box. The only question about it was that the ball was gone by then...but it was going to a Thorn and Hina was still involved in the play (that is, she was between the ball and the goal and still onside).

@@JohnTell-nl5vv are you suggesting that it was not a penalty? The defender was lucky to not see red since it was studs to the calf. Don't know how it was not called live except the ref was too afraid to "change the game" by her doing her actual job as NC should have had at least 4 more yellows and the Thorns a couple more.

@@JohnTell-nl5vvThat’s absolutely a pk. There’s a reason they didn’t disagree. Hina had the chance to get the ball but was stopped and it was going to a teammate. Just a very poor play by Williams (think that’s her name)

Nah that was not weak dude it was the right call…..so be quiet if ya got nothing nice to say about the team (THORNS) then go to another team.
