I’m a teenager. I attended this meeting Sunday morning and was blessed to hear my most favorite apostle speak. Elder Holland, you may not ever read this, ever hear of this, but I’d like you to know your words bring me great comfort, but more, have saved my life. I love you elder, and I can’t one day wait to greet you in heaven.❤

What a blessing it is to still have him in this world.

I love to listening to the talks of Jeffery R. Holland. He always reminds me to stick it through with Christ until the end.

For decades, we have watched these prophets and apostles grow frail in service to their God and their fellow man. We have witnessed them live out their lives in our service, and when their call to return to His presence came, we see equally competent and kind servants get called and continue in like fashion. Truly grateful for their Christlike examples, their love and their diligence in dedicating their lives to a purpose singular to bringing to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. Thank you Elder Holland for sharing your love of God....!!

What a wonderful warrior for Christ. Though he speaks with power and authority, the amount of Love that exudes from his speech is capable to change lives. As his body wears the scars of a life devoted to Christ and display the weight of time I see his spirit breaking even more brightly through the holes of his mortal cocoon. I hope one day to have half that amount of love and spirit

I love so much that Elder Holland is being so clear, again, here--that we have to know what Jesus actually said, not what we think He did. That's something those who run the church and preach the gospel often mention but it hasn't necessarily been said in conference super straightforwardly this way for a while.

Thank you President Holland! We love you! I know that Jesus Christ loves each of you, and I with his whole soul! The proof of that love is the scars in his hands, feet and in his side, which proves his completion of his atoning sacrifice for us. I know that Joseph Smith was and is a true prophet of God, who saw God and Jesus Christ face to face! God is there to answer our hearfelt prayers like Joseph Smith, and will help us to get through this difficult, but wonderful life!

The Word of God is the only truth. Not yours, not moral relativism, not perversions of it. Follow him or not. It is that simple. Divorce is not okay, Adultery is not okay, breaking the law of Chasity is not okay, etc etc

His voice is sounding like Spencer W Kimball’s

Follow the True Prophet and High Priest in Jesus of Nazareth, and in Him alone. When studying Jesus' word in the New Testament, these stately men in the church most of the time do the exact opposite of Jesus teachings. Examples in: build not up treasures on earth, but in Heaven. Why so many piles of money and wealth? Why food storage, when Jesus said to not worry about what you'll eat or wear, because the Father can always care for you? Beware false prophets. They sound nice. But a false cloak of "light" is not the truth in Jesus. His true Apostles were despised and rejected, as He was, not hailed as celebrities as these men. Speaking His name and nice sounding words is not enough. Claiming to be a disciple or apostle like these does not make you one in deed. Beware, and prepare by praying the Father, and by leaving these false shepherds

Jesus was God in the flesh. Timothy 3:16 16 KJV And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Not satans brother

It's interesting that this is the second talk so far to stress the importance of the structure/organisaiton of this church. Seems to me the apostasy approaches.

Is it just me or does he get brighter as he talks. And I don’t mean smart I mean BRIGHT…Anyone?
