That is a very narrow view of the subject. I have known many patients who have various disabilities and are unable to exercise. Menopausal women find it extremely difficult. The list is endless. Count your blessings that you were able to choose a path.
You can't escape facts! If you can't exercise all you have to do is eat at maintenance, eat more you put on weight. Excuses are called excuses for a reason and it ain't because they are valid. I'm fat, I know.

Sugar content higher than protein and that’s only one item.
Discipline and dedication can get you the results you want without letting someone mess with your body. Just exercise and eat healthy smaller portions and you’ll lose weight in no time.
Sharon’s mush should be a warning to young ladies, if they’re thinking about getting trout lips and the like. NHS waiting lists are over subscribed anyway, are we to put cancer/heart etc operations back so that weak minded people can possibly lose weight? (Bearing in mind that a good %age of people who have their stomachs reduced, don’t lose weight because they gorge on Mars bars and the like.)
If you're overweight your GP will blame almost everything that's wrong with you on it. So if they are right this operation will rescue the NHS. Cause skinny people dont get pain according to gp's.
research shows that the weight comes back after two years.. regarless how it down - less than 10 percent chance of keeping it off like the one lady did.

Us women of a certain age must revisit what we stick in our mouths. I can lose weight if I have a high protein, low-carb diet and go to the gym. Our metabolism slows down dramatically during menopause 😏 I eat a lot better in my 50s and have a lot more energy with no bloating.

Idea is for your body to burn fat as fuel instead of glucose/sugar (ketosis) Many cannot sustain the Weightloss once they reintroduce a regular level of carbs. Some make it a permanent lifestyle. I cycle keto myself. One day I consume 50 carbs or less, next day 125 carbs and so forth. And still remain in a calorie deficit if you’re trying to lose weight. I am at my maintenance weight. So I carb cycle to reintroduce more carbs in my diet.
I was going to add this comment! Fasting intermittently works to overcome excessive eating, reduces appetite, reduces amount you can eat in each meal, aid’s weight loss and feels good! No need for drastic gastric surgeries.. after all it is psychological so self discipline is what’s needed! It’s easy once you get in to it!

They keep noy=thing private every day it's something new they whining about, Ozzy this and Sharon this, the "POOR Osbournes", for pete's sake people are dying every day everywhere, there is a war going on and they think they need to be talked about things they did to THEMSELVES. My sister has gastric surgery and had health problems afterwards with kidney stones and then died prematurely in her 40s (20 years later) from kidney failure. I always thought it was a terrible choice to go surgery route.
They started coming out when I was taking Ayurvedic herbs for one of my conditions, then I took medication and all hell broke loose. I'm two years in and they still come out, mostly eggs. I'm about to do a mucoid plaque cleanse to get the big stuff out. I had one that was over a metre long but I know there are more of them because I feel them moving every where and they come up under the skin. When I do enemas I get long red lines on my legs. They are also wiggling in my ears, nose and throat. I've had to do so much to bring the population down but made a lot of mistakes on this journey. So many people on different social media say they LOVE Sharon Osbourne for her openness and "honesty." Hmmm. The woman has done gastric band surgery, Atkins, and then Ozempic. She looked good ten years ago after being on Atkins. Now she looks like something from a horror movie. She strikes me as an attention seeker with a lot of issues who would do well to get some counseling.

Kevin O'Sullivan should care about the NHS if nothing else for self presevation, because if we as a country carry one the NHS will become the NOS the National Obesity Service, and all the self imposed sickess the overweight are suffering from will be the only thing they will be treating and all of us who don't overeat take some excersise and pay taxes will be left to die. Obesity is already one of the major causes of heart disease, the countries biggest killer, a major case of cancer, the chief cause of kidney disease, amputations blindness and many more things. Many of these come as a side effect of type 2 diabetes, which has been PROVEN reversible on 40,000 NHS paitents, through simple weightloss. I for one refuse to die from lack of care because some fat person fancies a cream. I
