Hinduism is the caste system based religion headed by Brahmin, preached, presided over, in control and interpreted by them from years to years in different ages. At the helm of the Hindu religion keeping the rest of the people underneath, the caste system would never disappear as the yokes of religion have tightened up any mental development and blinded sights for centuries. The present BJP VHP RSS government has pushed back any reform or any freedom for decades to come. The changed Hindu scriptures do not help the caste system either. Superiroty by birth in a Brahmin caste only perpetuates the inequality of status and unjust treatment to the lower classes. The righteous deeds do not count if born in the lower castes in comparison with the Brahmin. The hypocrisy, ego and shame prevented changes in the socio economic structure alongside social justice and opportunities. Actions committed out of prejudices hurt more than just believing in the castes, which may have less importance in the urban areas.
