The best advice I received is to remember that the NCLEX is testing to make sure you will be a safe nurse so always remember safety. I reviewed mainly safety related things (preventing injuries, falls, ABC's, triage, etc) and top 3 safety related concerns for common health problems (such as 3 safety concerns for trachs/trach care or 3 safety concerns for stroke). Last is 3 side effects or things to watch for in commonly prescribed meds. On the test, I felt like i didnt know a single answer but just choose the answer that was most likely to keep my patient alive. I passed in 76 questions.
