In this episode, Adrianna discusses the “eternity of death” that is settler colonialism. From the child welfare system, homelessness to premature death, she is candid and poised in her description of state-sanctioned violence and the intergenerational trauma that has come to define her life as a Two-Spirit Indigenous person.
Despite the constant call to shelter in place, within Tkaronto/Toronto, more than 8,000 people remain unhoused. Generation Homeless is a series dedicated to the crises that rampant real estate speculation created across Turtle Island; particularly as lived and experienced by youth.

The demon behind addiction and homelessness If we can identify the forces and the sources behind addiction, then we can separate the hosts from the demons. Ecclesiastes 9:11Again, I saw that under the sun, the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor is bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favour to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all.

yeah, no, where are the indigenous homeless of Toronto...the ppl sleeping on the grates, ppl that were always there, ready with a laugh? ...some may have aged out, some were undoubtedly lost in 'the pandemic'...but...they're *all* gone, it seems, these days (2022 this year)...

To the CBC I will say I refuse to watch or listen to anything more of what you put out. If we are not allowed to comment on most of your articles including those on facebook then I consider that to be an infringment of our rights to speak up to criticize what you report on.

They remove the comment section because the internet has too many people who are trying to remind us that they hate us. Feel like you're rights are infringed upon because of your inability to make a comment??? Sounds really hard for you.

They allow content that stirs up controversy and hate. Then either allow c9mments or not. They decide.
