I know an elderly man, 90 next year, who wears layers of clothing and a hat all winter. The house next door has steam coming out of the flue 24/7 and the windows open ....guess who lives there... I came to UK as an international university student and left after completing my education. I am in mid 40s and believe me that UK of 90s was way better than today. Now the £250 per week is made up of the following. £47 spends, and the rest is made up of liabilities that are paid for by the state. These are as follows. Food, gas, electric, water, council tax, and rent, which comes to approx £200 per week. Therefore £200 + £47 is £247 per week. I apologize for being out by £3. Whether I agree with it or not, I am pointing out the facts and the costs to the taxpayer, nothing more, nothing less.
Illegal entry to a country is highly controversial, many countries you would run the risk of being shot at. you are considered illegal until a pass is given. But morally there is no such president where misuse of asylum is granted and let that be in their conscience. It is theft of the highest order, in the same way theft from the public purse is a serious offence.

Grandparents can’t afford to heat the house and they have lived in for 40 years, young mother of two cannot afford the food bill, people up and down the country cannot afford rent, so can you please make it make sense why these very same people are paying refugees to live in four or five star hotels paying for the heating and paying for their food, please make it make sense?

Most are African, Albanian or of M.Eastern origins and are military aged males. We are paying billions to hotels for their stay & then they receive priority stock social housing fully furnished and on full benefits. The billions wasted on human rights lawyers, especially the Muslim firms in London that were closed last year for processing fake asylum claims and showing them how to get past deportation, should be appropriated on far more worthy beneficiaries than them. I have seen way too many criminals pass our useless security checks and evade justice.
