YES YES & YES!!! Funny how all the Liq's were essential during the coof but now oh sh*te they'd better not drink soo much...pfft...Also if you're under 21 & in the military you can buy and drink alcohol...They need to stay the hell out of OUR business...I'd rather talk to a drunk than a Dem any day, as the Drunk wld still make more sense!!!
If you can't drink alcohol without binging then maybe you should just quit entirely. However, I am an adult and I know my limits and I want to be left alone to make these decisions for myself.
I greatly enjoy an old-fashioned at the end of the day. It is one of life's few joys. 90% of being an adult is doing things you don't want to do, either out of duty or necessity. Government should shut up and let me have my gosh darn drink.
I drink lots of red wine everyday of my life with dinner, I walk 5 miles a day, I do calisthenics. For me drinking a high-end red wine is an experience, so is exercising and eating healthy, no sugar or processed crap. Enjoy the good things in life with some self control. PERIOD
@shoneast6880 Jesus's first miracle was turning water into wine😂...obviously it's not a sin...what is a sin is getting drunk, putting your life and others in danger, but enjoying a glass of wine or beer is not a sin. Read your bible 😉
Talking about poison. The food we eat is poison. Everyone has cancer. My dad smoked two packs of ciggs and he got passed with colon cancer and prostate. Moderation is the key to life
Right? Eating fast food causes more deaths than alcohol. People just don't want to admit it. It's also sad to see so many people refusing to take accountability, as if it's the alcohol's fault and not the person doing the act.
@@drockopotamus1 you know how smoking a cigg is considered taboo now a days but drugs isn’t ? Alcoholism isn’t. I have workers shaking from withdrawals here in mornings at work. They have to drink those little bottles of wine from gas stations at 6:30am!! And those ppl talking about how bad ciggs are Comming from obese ppl !!This world is backwards
Made it to 365 days, felt AMAZING and lost a lot of weight but then COVID hit and said well I’m able to stop so fuck it, cracked one open and I at least know I can stop again but not everyone is so lucky.
My best friend died a day after her 58 birthday from drinking too much. What I find horrible is our food processors are adding poisons and carcinogens to our food.
My uncle just passed away from consequences of heavy drinking. It’s awful. All studies show it’s literally poison for our bodies. Everything with moderation
All he said was he doesn't want them to set those limits. And yes this needs to be stated because the government does this type of shit a lot. The government should not be telling us what to put in our own bodies....period.
These are just guidelines. If you go to the doctor this is something that they’d tell you. Don’t have more than one glass of whiskey a day if you’re a woman and not more than two a day if you’re a man. Now that’s max. Do you drink more than that daily, cuz honestly that is a legit health concern lol
The decision on when to pick an Adviser is a very personal one. I take guidance from ‘Monica Mary Strigle‘ to meet my growth goals and avoid mistakes, she's well-qualified and her page can be easily found on the net.
Like alcohol really matters, in the United States McDonald French fries have up to 19 ingredients, in the EU they have 3potatoes, cooking oil and salt. Our food is full of poison worse than alcohol
@@RT-qz5ci yea, I wouldn’t put faith in your guarantee. It’s actually a criminal that is punished there. That’s why Kraft changed their max and cheese recipe over a decade before they did it in the states
@@PumpkinKingXXIII don’t take my word for it man. There is an entire documentary about how a lot of “organic” food just has the label and isn’t organic. Would you really put it past a corporation to do something like that for money?
the federal government has NO business recommending anything about these sorts of things - I do personally recommend moderation as it relates to alcohol - I just want the government out of my diet. completely.
You guys haven't been to the far east of Russia, South Korea or Japan. I drastically stopped drinking after visiting those countries. The amount of alcohol intake is disgusting
I spent a summer with some Irish on Nantucket Island. 3 or 4 guys would stay all night and just stack their pints to pay in the morning when I came back. They called them "Sessions". Told me I couldn't handle it and I agreed lmao.
100%!!! Control the food, control the alcohol…. Control the people. My father was an alcoholic, as is my cousin currently. I’d rather be in a room with 100 stoners, than just one alcoholic. Straight facts.
I'm 61 yrs old and drank a (1) Wild Orchard cider yesterday. I went home early, crashed out around 7:00 pm, and today I feel like I can't get the motor running. I think I'm DONE as well
How will they replace the lost taxes and jobs? Coding? Sugar has killed more people than alcohol. State and local tax $15.4 billion and $15.5 billion Federal taxes, excise+consumption taxes. Alcohol, Wine and Beer are foods, they start as a farm product and still have calories after production.
@@daveassanowicz186 dude, Sugar and alcohol are BOTH EQUALLY EVIL. There's no point comparing, they were both created by Satan and are anti Christianity. Both need to be avoided and banned.
I started this same way, 1 year just to see if I could challenge myself and succeed. Then decided to go 1 more year. Past year 2. Almost had a celebratory drink 2 years 2 months in. I didn't want to mess with the streak. Just passed 3 years! I'm not sure what the future holds, but I have The Controls! 😤
I didn’t drink in 2023, I still do not enjoy drinking or the effects of alcohol but it seemed like women I dated with saw me not drinking as a red flag. I still try never do “drink dates” because I’m not looking for hookups. But when I’d say “yeah I’m not drinking”, I’d get unmatched so damn often. I’ve started drinking again this year but I feel like it will be the downfall of me but it makes everyone else less awkward and annoying than when I have to explain why I’m not drinking
Don’t start drinking to appease everyone. You will find the right one who appreciates the fact that you are strong enough to go against the grain! It’s not worth it. The longer you stick with it too the more people will actually feel confident that you are serious about it and that there’s less of a chance for you to relapse. Plus if women prioritize alcohol like that then you def don’t want them in your life anyway!!! Coming from someone whose bf has had drinking probs on and off. I speak from experience 😊
It seems like everyone who is against alcohol has a personal experience with severe alcoholism. Whether it’s raised by alcoholic parents or they became an alcoholic themselves. Yes, alcohol can be bad but most people don’t experience severe alcoholism and most things in moderation are not super harmful. Just because I see obese people doesn’t mean fast food doesn’t have a place in society. If you choose to drink, great more power to you; but if you choose not to drink, also great more power to you. I see in this productivity culture that everything we do has to be good for us in some way. I think that is a terrible way to live.
Most people don't look at the alternative to alcohol, Prohibition And even to this day, the crimes committed, including the income tax, have inflicted untold suffering to total strangers under that moral grandstanding.
This may have been true in the past, but not anymore. People are waking up to the fact that alcohol is a carcinogenic poison, and they don’t want it in their bodies. Almost every beer manufacturer now has a non-alcoholic option because people are truly waking up to the damage that alcohol has done to our society.
One of the most effective ways to improve your health is to simply eliminate things. It’s not even necessarily about DOING things anymore it’s just eliminating since we’ve developed such bad habits. Like eliminating sugar, eliminating cigarettes, drugs, refined wheat, seed oils, alcohol. So many people consume it and way too much of it and aren’t aware of how damaging it actually is.
Alcohol ruined my marriage and left my three children with a father who was unable to connect or get out of his angry spot because he drank every single day. He was a mean drunk.
You mean your husband who chose to be an alcoholic ruined your marriage. I’m sure the alcohol did not say drink me every day. That’s like blaming a gun for killing someone. I am empathetic to what your family went through though. 🙏🏾
@@positivityleads2success Murder is not a good comparison. Alcoholism is an addiction and makes a person powerless, and yes, only they can say they are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Go visit an AA meeting and listen to the stories, generally people have to hit bottom before they reach their conclusion. Fear of total loss has to be stronger than the fear of not having that next drink. Some never get there, sadly. And I was lucky enough to hit that bottom.
@@Crinkle.Stilt.Skin. you assumed too much. We had all three kids and an outstanding marriage for 15 years before he became an alcoholic. I would never be so stupid as to marry ry a drinker or a druggie.
After seeing a long list of people I highly respect who've stopped drinking, I stopped three months ago. I'm glad to see Vinnie is now added to that list. Adam, too.
Drink water , your kidneys will love you , I don’t wish a kidney stone on anyone. Probably the most pain full feeling ever. Alcohol is very bad for your kidneys.
Having wine with a meal and whisky with friends will always be timeless. However, abusing any substance, especially alcohol, inevitably leads to negative consequences.
I am an alcoholic. I know it is poison. I hate that it is normalized. All alcohol advertisement should be banned anywhere a child could possibly see it. At least the same way cigarette advertisement is banned in certain places.
And yet it’s everywhere. Almost lost my life 3 times because of my stupid decisions consuming alcohol. Been sober for over 10 years and not looking back. Alcohol does nothing beneficial at all.
Is it the type of alcohol we drink? Is it bingeing? Are these statistics the same for the French or Italians who smoke cigs and enjoy wine with dinner?
I'm drinking coconut water because I was getting charlie horses at work and even muscle spasms on my forearms. But at work I was thinking of Lager beers.
Totally agree 👍🏼 Vini, same here. I also stopped drinking for almost 1 year now.... huge positive impact on my health, mind, body, soul and most importantly, my spirit ♥️ 😊
Indeed. Gave up alcohol decades ago. It’s poison. Full stop. Poison. Get your kicks naturally. All the best to everyone. Be kind. Always. Out lies and evil. Always.
im a 65 year old man in excellent physical shape. a few glasses of wine or a shot of bourbon on the weekend is probably a healthy thing to do. look at the europeans and see how happy they are.....drinking more than two nights a week or during the day is another story. MODERATION AMEN
To add to what Tom was saying the Dr.s use to say cigs having vitamins. When they introduced filter cigs they were based off of the well known cancer-causing Asbestos
One thing that comes to mind, is change the labelling standards. Put warning labels. I know it’s lacklustre on helping the people, but influence people to start walking away from alcohol before considering to take it away. We have an opiate crisis that hasn’t been resolved.
Drinking alcohol leads so many people to lose so much. For many people drinking makes people losers. I know a guy who lost his wife, his job and his relationship to his son. Eventually, he lost his health and ultimately his life. This man was such a joy in our lives when we were younger. This downfall was devastating. It is not worth it. 326 since my last drink. I do not miss it one bit. It is not worth it.
Uhm Duhh! Uhm cirrhosis of the liver, kidney cancers that leads to dialysis, and Wernicke encephalopathy syndrome that increase cognitive decline are all alcohol related. But the issue is the long time exposure to alcohol. For the physically fit occasional drinker of 5-10 drinks a year on occasions really wouldn’t have much to worry about because the body has a way of flushing and repairing the cellular damage caused by the exposure.
For my adult life I’ve primarily drank three things…water, milk and beer. The key is moderation. There is no way all of these modern drinks with artificial sweeteners and various other chemicals are healthier than say a Guinness which contains water, barley, hops and yeast.
For the first time they actually said something productive and correct in that we all know that you shouldn't be drinking it in the first place as it doesn't help you just like junk food. Working to get rid of it should be the goal. Replace it with working out hard, getting rid of the triggers to want to drink, and seeking inner peace to not need it.
The hypocrisy of the government to say that drinking is out of control here when you see advertisement after advertisement for alcohol every damn day plus how convenient most liquor stores are placed in the hoods and near the biggest apartment complexes. The city I'm in has one called the Liquor Barn and its literally the size of a dollar general. Clown World
I’m 29 and don’t drink anything during the week. Some weekends I’ll drink a moderate amount, others i’ll let loose. Gotta live a little. Can definitely see myself quitting once married and have kids
I drink once a week usually on Saturdays. About 5 to 6 drinks. I’m going my family and my career has continued to excel. I find enjoying myself one day of the week works fine without consequences so far.
Kudos to you guys for eliminating alcohol. I had family members due because of alcohol: 2 from cerosis, but my 30 year old nephew who was killed by a drunk driver while sitting in his own driveway.
9:01 I relate to this so much. Listening to certain music has a serious impact on my mood throughout the day. Wu Tang Clan and System Of A Down, if I listen to these artists while working out, I lift more, but the rest of the day I have a chip on my shoulder. Audio Books definitely made a difference for me as well.
Not once did any world government help or advice its citizens to avoid alcohol n recreational drug products...they did the opposite n allowed and supported massive sales during the plandemic. A good friend of ours suffered n died due to struggles with alcohol aka alcoholism. What's sad is they were very high functioning n most of us either ignored the signs or didn't notice them. Looking back, there was 2yrs of random short term memory loss issues..we thought it was mere stress. Today I'll have a random drink here n there with a meal, usually on a special occasion. If we were stupid to allow our government to force vaccines upon us (in the name of love n care for is), then maybe we should consider supporting the temporary ot permanent outlaw and ban of high alcohol content beverages and all recreational drugs including all cbd tch products.....truth is, we're stupid as a species and hypocrites. The masses don't truly care about health and well being - we support live and be free!!
I quit drinking 7 years ago next month 🤘 I don't think it should be limited or whatever, that's a waste of time. Remember prohibition? It didn't work, mate.
I’ve done over a year with no alcohol am found it extremely boring and dissatisfying . I don’t get hammered but I do enjoy a beer or two after work . Makes things much less boring
I agree. And it is GOOD. I am from Wisconsin- home to the highest alcoholism rate in the country. It is ingrained in our culture, but even there it is shifting.
Hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life was kick drugs (alcohol tobacco etc). Best advice is don’t get into it in the first place and learn that you are great the way you are/don’t need it
Vinny congrats to you and the rest of you. Keep God in sails and he’ll blow you wherever you want to go🙏🏾. But all of you stay BLESSED and thanks for all you guys do.
