“IT IS WELL" - This Life I Live - episode 1 

My marriage was new when your precious wife passed away. It was just 4 short years later that the love of my life passed away, too. God be with you always.

I wasn't sure I should write this, but you and Joey live the life I've always dreamed of. Now 66 and divorced, I will dream of what God has for my life. God has given me good health after a year's fight with cancer. Now I take each day at a time and thank him for it. Watching you and Indi gives me hope as I'm raising my granddaughter of 7 yrs old and that we too can write our own story in spite of what has happened in our life. God is good and thank you Rory for sharing your beautiful stories with us. They are inspiring and bring hope in such a chaotic world. God bless!

My tears fall each time I watch this, my fiancé and I loved to watch you and Joey every week. We had happy tears when we found out that you and Joey were expecting indiana, and again with Joey's diagnosis and death. My fiancé passed away in 2018,and I miss him so much.

You have said it well “love doesn’t have to end for it to begin again.” I also was surprised to find myself loving and re-marrying after being widowed, as well as becoming a step-mama, where previously I had been a teacher with no children of my own. Hallmark stories indeed as the Lord is always faithfully weaving His ways in such beautiful days in the lives of His dear ones. Blessing continually on you all!

I Had Breast Cancer Myself At 39 yrs. I Love Ya'll And Your Music. I Watched Joey's Funeral Online. It Broke My Heart. We shared A Room, And She Would Have Me Read The Bible To Her At Night Before Going To Sleep At Night. Well I Better Go. I had just found you and Joey on youtube years ago as I laid in bed with 4 fractures in my back. Feeling very sorry for myself, I began to pray for Joey and you and Indy. I didn't understand why God allowed this to happen to me. But as time went on I prayed and God very close to the Lord. I watched every thing I could of Joey even her bad days as I was in so much pain with my back and was in bed 2 years. When she passed I was so hurt and ask God why? She had everything. Career, family, a new baby a home and a husband who loved her very much. And here I am a no body with a husband who didn't care about me or the pain I was going through. I was alone all the time suffering. Then he told me he going to be with some one else. I remained faithful and God knew who I was a small town girl who when loves, loves a person and I stayed. The song you sang was me the other way around. My husband left me in 2021. Its been a hard thing. You know everyone has a story. I still love the man I married but not the one he is now. Its a hard thing to shut your love off. When you truly love. Yes, its time Rory to live life again. Im just now laughing again with my family and friends and plus I have me church. I am closer to the Lord, he is my husband now . Joey would be so proud of you Rory. God Bless you and your new life. Oh, you won't forget and neither will I . God is our ALL-knowing Omniscient Father, and His word tells us that we will suffer on this earth, in John 16:33, "You will have suffering in this world". God and God alone knows the magnitude of your suffering, anguish, pain, and the grace that He has given you to share your life is nothing short of miraculous. I had a friend tell me one day, that "Everyone" has some cross that they are carrying, and no family is without struggles, pain and suffering". It's true, and no matter how wealthy, or famous, or what your socioeconomic status is, or where you live, you will have trials and tribulations. God knows what I have in my life, and the anguish, and sadness that has broken my heart, but I say thank You, God, for this man, Rory Feek, and the grace, the means that he has, and the talent that You have blessed him so abundantly with because there is a healing that emanates through the message. You, your beautiful wife, and your precious child have touched the world with your love story, and your ability to carry on, and your message of holding on and hope is profound. Through it all, if you just take one day at a time, the good Lord sees us through because His grace is new each morning, and you show it, and your words are so comforting. Especially right now, as we are living in a world that is filled with so much evil, ugliness, and uncertainty, and just when you think you heard the most horrific story, another one pops up. So, with a hurting heart, and doom and gloom at every turn, I say ALL Glory to God for the blessing of having someone so gifted and willing to share his message to the world. Thank You God for the wisdom, and knowledge that was given to him to start filming and recording "This Life I Live". This had to be from God indeed, and I can't help but think that your beautiful Joey, and your most precious beautiful child, along with the most remarkable life you mapped out for yourselves was accomplished to bless " A hurting world".
