In retrospect, the unusually early debate almost seems like a trap set by the Democrats that the Republicans fell for. Imagine if it'd happened far later after the nominations were secured, as is usual. The Republicans would've been guaranteed the biggest landslide ever. Now there's an actual fight. With one fell swoop the Democrats have transferred multiple advantages the Republicans had (i.e. having the younger candidate) over to themselves and then some (i.e. being a new Presidential candidate). Kamala may be a joke, but Republicans/Trump really should've resisted the urge to debate Biden and kick him out of the race so early. Republicans really let the Democrats sideswipe them here. However you want to spin it, the Democrats now, unnecessarily, have more advantages than they did a few days ago.
People are going to take one look at Kamala and wonder how Putin and Xi will knock her around the ring. Somehow, she's less competent than Biden it's ridiculous that she's the nominee
Kamala has a very impressive resume. She's smart, quick on her feet and in her mind, and she's a people person. She has a lot to offer the people of the United States of America.

We won’t vote for Harris or the crazy Trump. Democrats need a stronger candidate!!! Harris is a cheerleader, a flatterer with very shallow or limited understandings of the America and world issues. She is not capable to lead our country.
There's a difference between not being up to handling debates on live TV, and not being able to handle being President. Biden can do the latter (as he has for the last 3.5 years) but can no longer do the former .... which is why he's stepped down as nominee.
Suddenly Trump is on the back foot. He's now 2 decades older than his opponent, picked a VP nominee (Vance) that doesn't fit well with the new game that's in town, and is facing a re-energised Democratic Party headed by a far more formidable challenger (compared to Biden) who can now pick a VP nominee who does fit well with her campaign strategy. Trump's whole strategy was based around Biden - and now it's collapsed.
