Unicef, can you separate food from other aid items so that there can be no excuse to block it for dual purposes? Send food in a separate trucks? Food and water only? Or can those babies and children who are most severely affected by malnutrition (like the baby in the video) been transported to Egypt? Can that be arranged?
Trucks have been refused entry based on the fact the driver had a first aid box for personal use with scissors in. This isn't simply about allowing food in it's also about allowing medical essentials in, drugs for medical reasons, pain killers etc. all of these have been blocked by Israel. Even in this report it's mentioned that food and water aid is being blocked from entering northern Gaza. So your suggestion while well intended won't change anything. Only the Israeli government and IDF changing their genocidal attitude will stop this atrocity.
