@HawkTheChallenger Yes but soon, you will bow down to JESUS and worship HIM, someday you will turn away from idolatry and turn to the true GOD. Glory to Christ! ✝️☦️
@@ripbeni6198 Jesus told him and the disciples to have swords ready, why would one have swords in not to defend? so I think you’re quick to put words where you shouldn’t friend. Correct me if I’m wrong. Let us not judge.
@@urjustoffendedtooeasily194 you are wrong, like Peter, and Jesus abraded Peter for it. Self-defence and defence of your friends being wrongfully executed is noble but not when that friend is no mere friend, is God, and for the past 3 years has been telling you that He plans to willingly offer His life up to the Father in Jerusalem… THEN, you’re going against the will of the Father and Son! Had this not been so extensively communicated to Peter and other Apostles and Disciples privately and publicly, then yes, he would be justified in doing so. Remember before the arrest: From that time on, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and undergo great suffering at the hands of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised. 22 And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, ‘God forbid it, Lord! This must never happen to you.’ 23 But he turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling-block to me; for you are setting your mind not on divine things but on human things.’ (Matthew 16: 21-23) A Catholic mind discerns.
He who holds a grudge longest is the saddest. He who forgives first is the freest. He who forgets will always end up the happiest. Don't forgive because everyone deserves forgiveness (they still do!), but forgive because you deserve to be happy.
I don’t look to my happiness as a pursuit. I pursue Christ. I pursue submission to God. Because he will provide all that I need. Forgiveness is commanded.
You know. Its not just love your enemies. Its love everyone. not their sin. not their ways. love them because Christ loved them also. Like he said on the cross " forgive them for they know not what their doing"

In Ecc. 7:16, Solomon seems to be referring to people who go to extreme external lengths to appear righteous or knowedgable. There are ways of being charitable that are imprudent, such as abandoning your spouse and children for a mission in Africa (1 Timothy 5:8), as well as paths of outward righteousness that come from a desire to be holier-than-thou (Matt. 23:5) or please man ( Luke 10:38-42). “Overrighteousness” is an extreme religiosity, perhaps marked by asceticism, excessive strictness, and zealous observance of the minutiae of man-made religion. “Overwisdom” will call God’s character and wisdom into question, speculate about His actions, and judge them according to one’s own “superior” wisdom. God's perfect character, as shown by Christ's life on Earth, shows that moderation is essential to righteousness. Christ fasted and feasted, was humble but confident, self-sacrificial but still took time to be alone with His Father in heaven. Christ was kind but righteously angry. If you read to Ecc. 7:18, Solomon encourages this balanced perspective on life.
@@AndrewWilson-ol6jbFurther context doesn’t matter if the Bible doesn’t teach you can be perfect and you already are following God I was asking more about the verse in Matthew but I think I got my answer if the context of that verse is just talking about greeting people the reason I am asking this question in the first place is because I came across a video from a RU-vid Channel called Cipher Grove he has a video called my first Astral experience he claims to be a former Pastor and brought this up to me as if it’s a contradiction.
In context the writer of Ecclesiastes (likely King Solomon) goes on to say that you can avoid all extremes (overrighteousness and overwickedness) by fearing God (7:18). If fearing God causes you to not be overrighteous, it is likely he is not talking about righteousness from faith or doing what pleases God, but instead likely outward righteousness, acting better than everyone else, like how the Pharisees were in Jesus' time.
@@MrBears25 The only way to perfection is through theosis, just like Jesus and the whole bible teaches. Not through your own works and power but only through Him.
Nah I deleted tiktok and if I go on instagram i just end up getting too addicted to it. Maybe someday if I can keep myself from getting too addicted it but for now I know I can’t do that.
Everyone saying to him Crome to Christ that’s his choice if he wants to live his life or give up his life to Christ we can’t force but tell him the good news
It is hard to forgive, love and pray for those who have hurt me, embarassed me and taken advantage of me, left scars in my soul i still am tormented by. I do know that the only way of the lord and saviour Jesus Christ is this commandment, i love my lord forever. I will try to forgive my enemies, for my soul´s wellbeing and for you my lord.
This is a very great video to watch especially on a nice walk in the park and helps me wind down and relax and enjoy my life and appreciate all the beauty of the world that God gave us
The verse is from 1. Peter 2:16, and some translations use "servants" instead of "slaves". Nevertheless; from what I see of it, Peter is urging Christians to not excuse themselves to sin because of His mercy. They are not bound by sin, because of the blood of Jesus, yet this does not mean that they should continue sinning (in similar fashion to Romans 6:1-5). Jesus died for the sins of humanity, but one should not use it as a "get-out-of-jail-free card" to keep sinning. They should strive to obey God as best as they are able to.
“Slave,” not in the historical American sense, or even in the brutal unconsensual sense, but in the sense that you freely and lovingly acknowledge God, the source of all goodness and beauty, as your one true master, and that you serve and obey everything that is within the Divine Will of the Lord of Hosts.
It’s pretty obvious, you don’t belong to yourself, you belong to god, you have no right to exercise your will, but only gods will. Therefor act as god commands, and when you interact with others, display the humility and love to them that is proper since your master who you love, loves them as well
