Sree Maathre Namaha, Namaskaram Guruji, I am writing to you with the hope that you will answer my question sooner or later. I would like to know what is the right way to chant Om. Is there a systematic method behind chanting? How long should we say O before we say Mmm and for how long should we say Mmm? What is the real meaning of Om and how does it bridge the gap between my ego and the Mother? Thank you for sharing your love for the Mother with us.

Sri Matre Namaha, Amma our Guru Lineage starts with Lord Shiva who gave the knowledge of Srividya to Lord Dattatreya. Lord Dattatreya is revered as the Adi-Guru (First Teacher) of the Adinath Sampradaya of the Nathas, the first “Lord of Yoga” with mastery of Tantra (techniques). To this monastic order belongs Srilasri Swaprakasananda Theertha Avadhootha, who initiated Sri Amritananda Natha Saraswathi. Guru Sri Karunamaya was initiated by Sri Amritananda Natha Saraswathi.
