I'm so grateful for this testimony. The letter had me in tears and fills me with so much joy and hope for all who suffer these debilitating symptoms. What really strikes me in this interview is how incredibly humble Elisabeth is in spite if her amazing journey. She's so careful out of consideration not to offend anyone, so cautious so as not to create any exaggerated expectations, that it almost feels like she's downplaying her truly fantastic work into healing her system and living a whole new happier, healthier, pain free life. Elisabeth, if you're reading this, I want you to know how important it is that you spoke up to tell us what you accomplished through Irene's course. This is life changing for so many of us, and I'm so grateful that you took the time and courage to share this with us. I'm so inspired by your journey. You mentioned that spreading this awareness of what we're capable of accomplishing isn't a calling you wanted, but I speak for all of us when I encourage you to continue raising this awareness anyway. Congratulations on your new symptom free life, just imagine what beautiful chapters lie ahead of you because you did the work. Thank you for making this interview happen Irene, your content - as always - is absolute gold
I love when people share their stories and experiences because it helps fill in the “gaps” of what you teach. It is so difficult using language to capture and describe the nervous system’s many sensations and processes, so when someone comes and uses their own language and way of describing, it sometimes sets off lightbulbs in my own brain and body that may not otherwise be set off just from reading and hearing your words. Not that your words don’t do the same thing in different ways. I think that is just how this process works, and I thank you for doing these interviews Irene!
Thank you...I've watched the video this week where you read her letter. And I was so excited and wanted to hear it at first hand, and now happy to see your interview. UPD just ended to watch it. What a beautiful conversation! Thank you again. Very wise, practical, and down to earth approach that Elisabeth follows, amazing. So glad to see it..."just do it, commit" - that's the core, very helpful. Great. Gosh, thanks
I remember being happy to get a diagnosis of fibromyalgia because it explained my symptoms but then I focused on my diagnosis. Now I choose not to identify as fibromyalgia. I choose to focus on my health and recovery. Thank you for sharing your story!
This is a fascinating video. I am quite sceptical of health claims like this (I have CFS and have come across many a snake oil salesman) so to hear it direct from the source is very helpful. I've seen similar testimonies on your website Irene from people living with fatigue specifically who've improved dramatically through your course (one had severe CFS - functioning roughly up to 20% - and is now at 70%. I'm at 35-40% so this is truly remarkable). Forgive me if you've already done this, I haven't watched all of your videos yet, but I would love to see long form interviews like this with students of yours with CFS. Regardless, I've decided to sign up for the 21 day tune up on Cyber Monday as I know that my nervous system is dysregulated - if I see improvements in energy then great, but even if it just helps with healing my trauma then I'll be happy. Thanks for offering such a huge discount once a year, it makes this possible for those of us on low incomes/unable to work.
Hi Rosa, Seth here with Team Lyon. Yay! I'm so glad you'll be joining us in the Tune Up! Here is a playlist of video testimonials from our SmartBody SmartMind students (our once a year intensive) which is different, but the same kind of work - all the 21 Day material is in SBSM, plus a lot more. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o1p9SSU47lo.html We only have a couple other video testimonials for the 21 day program. you can watch those here... ru-vid.com/group/PL_tIcR-r0CU7AkPjvIRwMRvaq0Cbfm_BM
I am so ready to take this journey, learn the inner workings of my nervous system and heal. Thank you Eizabeth and Irene for sharing this story of hope.
I am nicely surprised that she she done Irene's 21 day course and healed. I am on that course and I am seeing some changes but at the back of my mind I am thinking how after this course am I going to be able to pay for the SBSM course? Now I am thinking maybe given I have seen some changes that if I really commit to it (thats the 21 day course and my healing) hopefully it will be enough? I suppose when I have still have bad days and being 70 years old I get frustrated and down hearted and just want so badly for it to heal. Would be grateful of a comment from team Irene.
I have a question. I have been doing CFR classes twice a week for a couple of years now. Based on Feldenkrais work. How does the 12 day NS reset tie in with that or expand on that ? I am considering purchasing it on Monday. I would like to know what is covered in the course. Thank you for all your free videos.
Hi knitpaint, Jen here from Team Lyon. I have experience with Feldenkrais work so will speak from that perspective. In sum, in the 21 Day Nervous System Tune Up Irene teaches education and practices related to growing nervous system regulation and capacity. There is also a website where you can ask practices. Many of the practices are designed so that you can integrate them into your daily life to grow and deepen change over time (you can repeat the "Tune Up" as many times as you like). The Feldenkrais method is one of the approaches that Irene incorporates into her teachings.
Hi Nadine, Seth here with Team Lyon. I can understand that impression. But, given that the cost of a somatic therapy session with a good practitioner will be anywhere from $150-200 an hour, and that it generally takes months and months if not years of such sessions, weekly or bi-weekly, to get better, then $297 for a comprehensive education (which most practitioners will not give you) and a basic set of practical tools to help you start applying this work for yourself in the safety of your own home is actually not that much relatively speaking. Also, this coming Monday (Cyber Monday) we will be offering this program for $100 off.
well POTS can also come from autoimmune small fiber polineuropathy and is not a "mistery". Just very general normal labs dont show this, you need to get tested for auto-antibodies and do a nerve biopsy.
Hi Denise, Seth here with Team Lyon. I'm sorry, but I don't fully understand your question. If you're asking, 'do we have to go through severe trauma in order to recover from trauma', then absolutely not! That wouldn't work. The treatment cannot be retraumatizing if it is to be effective. If you're asking, 'is trauma always at the root of such symptoms', then the answer is yes.
@@teamlyon3109 I deal with such extreme emotion terror and grief right now that I am just short of loosing control on. In the past I have delt with extreme outbursts to release the horrible emotions with out my permission trapped in my throat and my middle. I cannot go back to loosing control like that again but I know there has to be a way to heal this without loosing everything again. Thank you for responding to me I really appreciate it
