Ouch on the shingles. Glad you’re over it. One thing I want to say - thank you for stressing the fact that you stitch for what makes you comfortable. I agree no set way of where you start, how you stitch or fabrics used. So many read the riot act you’re doing it wrong if starting in middle or corner. Or, put down because you stitch on Aida. The two if you are always so positive. Oh, 99% of the time I start in the middle. Enjoy the 4th everyone!!!!

I was afraid i was not doing something right and that was why I wasn’t finding you gals. I am SO glad you are back. I am using my stitching time making crazy quilt Christmas ornaments for the Hospice people who care for my husband of 70 years. I will end up with 25 i think. I would greatly enjoy stitching the sampler when I finish all the embroidery on my ornaments.

Thank you both for a lovely visit, I kitted up a tablecloth project while watching you both, so much more fun when you have company. After 38 years teaching Midwives at a University in UK I am taking voluntary redundancy, I am fortunate I would have retired next year and I have so much stitching to do that has been sadly neglected as work has always come first. I am working very hard on staying positive and I have even signed up for a couple of courses at the Royal School of Needlework. Your video came at just the right time. I had so many I want to stitch that moments which no longer has to be followed by but I never have the time. I look forward Liz to another peyote session , I have even bought the wooden tubes ready for learning in the round. I am glad you are on the mend Deb ,shingles can be so painful and Liz I bet you are having such fun puppy sitting. Happy stitching till the next time ladies.

So glad to see you back and healthy again. I started watching Flosstubes app. a year ago when I restarted cross stitch after being away for over 30 years. Evenings when I want some companionship while stitching, I check if you have a new post or watch the older ones in order from the beginning. You are like bringing 2 friends into my home to share your ideas, teach new techniques, and share products you found. Just like my quilting friends always do when we are together. Deb, a while ago when you did a tour of your home hallway, you showed "Quakers and Quilts". I fell in love with the project because in incorporates the beautiful Quaker motifs with quilt patterns and I have been a quilter for 40 years. Could you give a little more info on how you stitched this project? What fabric? Called for flosses? any other ideas about doing it. I really want to start and hope to finish in this lifetime. Thanks again for your companionship and see you soon.

I love watching your videos. Your pieces are always beautiful and it's wonderful to see your obvious close friendship. I wanted to interject a point on one of the products you featured The Statehood Splendor Series book. Other than the stitch featured on the cover, THERE ARE NO CHARTS!! I was shocked that I foolishly paid $42 for a book w/o charts. Thought I'd mention that to anyone who may be tempted to buy the book.I too had thought about making all the states; however, I would have had to spend an additional $260 for charts! Very expensive endeavor! .
