Some backstory: Niomi is a character I’ve made for my favorite game bioshock, in the 50’s,(I know her outfit looks 70’s but it’s so cute that ima just say she inspired the 70’s) she used to live in a city in Japan(Takayama) she grew up (used to have black hair it’s pink now) and around the age of 11-13 her father died. She wanted to be just like him, a mechanic, but women in Japan not really ideal, so she was bullied for wanting to be a ‘man’ (she’s not trans just pansexual, but if you wanna headcannon her as trans be my guest ❤️)
She was bullied more after her father died cause she was doing her best to be a mechanic. She had an incident, her mother started being cruel and making her do girly things when her father died (grieving).(she was also 16 when it happened) She hopped a boat and went to America (New York) while walking around the city. two teens try to mug her and she has a pocket knife her father gave her, she cut them up and continues when an older man 30’s-50’s approaches (Andrew Ryan created of the underwater place but this is him a few years later before he made it)
He adopted her and made her into a famous singer and model, when it was time to go underwater he made her the main attraction/dance/singer. She made an advertisement (Black Sea (amazing song btw will animate one day)) This is where I’ll leave the story now and will tell more later. ❤️
