Only charitable donations may be described in such a way. They are made with the expectation, probably the promise, that the donors will receive something in return. Given Labour's never ending criticism of Tory sleaze when they were in opposition, now they are in government, not only is it a government corrupt to its core but one full of hypocrisy too.
