Nah, they’re plenty noisy 😂 I run a noise gate pedal always on so I just don’t tend to notice unless I’m recording or listening very closely

@@LeFeversAudio what kind of noise gate do you use? What do you do when recording to deal with noise?

I use the EHX Silencer, on all the time to cut out hum and buzz when I’m not playing. When I *am* playing I mostly don’t notice the pickup noise too much. On studio recordings, I have this plugin called Klevgrand Brusfri that samples the noise floor and takes it out of the recording, so I just have to make sure to capture a few seconds of ‘silence’ / noise before I start playing so it has something to work with.
