Q: As a teenager on the brink of adulthood, am I to participate in the church because of a desire I am supposed to have or because of dutiful diligence? Is it a bad thing to participate in the church solely out of duty? Am I supposed to feel or find a desire to participate in EVERY capacity I am called to serve in?

Take everything at your own pace.....when it comes to a mission....pray about it, even if it's a personal choice....pray about it, if dating and marriage is a choice....pray about it....pray about all of it.....but take the dating and marriage slowly..... im so glad that when bro Wilcox spoke to me and my mission in2019, he made it clear that, yes,missions, dating and marriage but it was our choice and ours only.

Ok, so I'm 70, and I needed to be reminded that I can handle today at "kindergarten" and I can make it a really good day. But if I start to fret over 12th grade, I make myself miserable and get derailed. I just need to take care of what I can today, because I can't 'fix' tomorrow no matter how hard I try. Today is where we find joy and make a difference, and that is one step at a time!

Brad should not be talking to the youth. His GOSPEL acronym talk is racist, abusive, fear mongering, and has hurt many families. His apology with Brother Corbitt was horrible and brother Corbitt literally told the youth “it is better to take a breath from breathing than to take a break from church.” These people have no place speaking to, or teaching the youth.
