It doesn't show the whole laning phase but it looks like he is making 0 attempts to pressure the enemy. Has full hp and full mana the whole time while xayah is contesting cs alone. Seems to me like xayah saying him to stop afking is completely reasonable. Because he is not using his resources at all. And xayah is getting behind because of it. He should be doing more to create space and poke varus with spells

Her w when used on a team member temporarily delays death for a short period of time (grey health). If your team manages to kill an enemy during that time period they will come back to life. Her r will cause the enemy team to go bezerk and attack the nearest player ( including their own team)
@@Tilterella I haven't put a lot of time into renata but I feel like I never know what I'm supposed to do with her kit. She does a number of different things but doesn't really seem excel at anything as far as I can tell.
Yeah i dont think tilting 2 of your teammates is really optimal if you wanna win, i don't think supports going top is bad at all but that definitely wasn't the play after they both spam pinged you

A huge % of players need to change their "I wish this game was different" mindset, and instead try to adapt to the current game in front of them. I see it every single time; be it an obnoxious player, a feeding teammate, an objective stolen or a bad call. I just don't get how the other players can't simply adapt and do the best with whatever resources they have available at the moment. Complaining is never effective. Being emotional is not a viable route to success, specially if you care all that much about performance.
If your adc sucks just find who is winning on your team and go support them instead. No point polishing a turd if you've already got a diamond on the team.

Usually I love your creativity, but the decision to stay top when neither the top laner nor ADC wanted you to do that just came off as self-centred. Have some respect for your teammates, don’t just ignore what they say because you think you know better.
Guess what, I do know better. You can’t soak top lane for multiple levels and then go into a losing lane. Youll now have two losing lanes. Same logic when it comes to half assing split pushing. Either you commit to it or group, don’t sit in the middle and achieve nothing.
@@Tilterella I agree that you should commit to a decision, but the decision you made in the first place was directly against the wishes of two of your teammates. It’s one thing for the ADC to be hesitant but for you to ask them to trust you, but when the top laner also says ‘no seriously, I’m confident in this matchup, I would prefer if you help our ADC’ then why ignore both of them? Just tilts half of your teammates before the game even properly starts and forces them to play the way YOU want them to.
@@NLRAspect people don't like new things and that's literally never going to change. Doesn't mean new is bad. Same exact players encouraged me to do the swap in future games and I declined because it didn't suit our comp. I could care less about getting peoples approval, if I did that i'd be playing only meta, ad sion would not exist, we would never touch new champions, we'd never know double jg can work or support sion or anything.

It's largely unexpected for me unless I play with a Renata often, imo. I imagine that's why people used to complain often about others not taking Thresh lanterns. Now I can't play with a Thresh and immediately think "take the damn lantern!" Same will happen with Renata.
it's definitely just an issue of Renata not being 'meta'. it's like Zilean R, people tend to forget that you have a "don't die" button and play accordingly.
Or anyone for that matter. I'm so sick of teammates saying I'm AFK when my ADC is having a miserable time and I have to play lane with them rather than roaming non-stop. It's like these people are incapable of seeing the macro situation outside of their own CS.
As a top main I just hate it when my jungle or support forces himself into my lane when I clearly am better off without him as soaking xp can sometimes be devastating to the state of the lane. Also it is just hella frustrating cuz I have a game plan too and now the support basicly overrides my gameplan by beeing here all game... just don't continue doing it when your laner clearly doesn't want to continue with the strat, I usually like your videos and your playstyle but this tactic is just ass and shooting urself in the foot by pissing off your own playes (rightfully so are they pissed). And now don't come with statistics and that it's better for winning etc. it is annoying and league is sposed to be fun after all cuz it is a game.... having to deal with toxic teammates like supports / junglers that do this isn't fun.
Off meta is what keeps me playing . Playing the meta is so boring and it eventually gets nerfed .I like ziggs supp for poke and tower ganks as I call them 😂
He did exactly what he should have, it’s tough. If I go to lane I’m literally in the same boat. Can play perfect and still have zero impact on the game.
@@Tilterella 20:50 Darius Lvl 9/10 still 2 plates in the tower way off optimal, at that point with no enemy and prio he had to be pressuring your t2 tower or matching you, he was way ahead of you and you say it.
TBH, t as a top laner, this can be a really annoying playstyle to play with or against. I play around level up timers and xp matters a ton more than gold. If I'm in a losing matchup, great come top. But if i'm kled playing in a winning matchup and the support is soaking xp, it's infuriating.
While I'm fully with you on game one, Xayah was in the wrong there and you don't need that kind of negativity in your life, throwing someone else's game out in game two was kinda not a cool thing to do. You're taking someone who's whole game plan involves being in a single lane and demanding they adapt to your preference. You're almost more toxic than the Xayah there.
League players be normal challenge: Impossible Speakinng as as ADC, abandoning Xayah was justified. I cant imagine ever flaming anyone, I iust quietly curse at my screen, but to flame yout lane partner?? I may tell my support to please play more aggressive or sth, but shitting on them isn't gonna win the game, bud.
tbh i would despise the sort of playstyle you pulled of with sion vs darius as well if i were the Darius. Cause like, if you would win lane vs Darius as Sion the Darius couldn't possibly be upset because he is so favored in the matchup. But if you just roam around the map and flip plays there is nothing he can do and he has no counterplay against that at all and has to pray that his team won't die to it because if they don't die to it the cheese doesn't pay off and the Sion is useless while Darius is 10cs per minute and took top turret.

Whatever, It's just a game after all, But as an ADC player I do often get supports who literally randomly stand afk here and there without letting me know. I end up Semi Laning 1v2 which i then complain by telling the support to stop being afk and I get trolled even worse. Show the whole Match or forget about it.
9:16 Solo laners are topside, duo laners are botside. If you mess that up, it's your fault. Vayne was comparing herself to Aatrox because she was in a solo lane with a random guy that did wtvtf he wanted and ignored his team. That's the opposite of what Riot asks players to do.
A few remarks for the second game: - cheesing first 5-6 waves top can be alright, especially when they have zeri yummi bot - 7:13 : stealing 4 waves of XP from the Vayne who will then have to match Aatrox on side is full troll, ofc he does not want you on top - Lee should just dive bot instead of salvage top and it's over for you - 7:37 : "trying my best to not let the flame impact my decisions", bro, you literally went top because ADC flamed you the game before, stfu - 8:10 : the wave is already coming in, it's not a cannon wave, resetting would just mean lose wave, plates and first tower. FULL troll Altough some plays might be viable, what you are doing is mostly coinflipping, and most of the flame for that second game is warranted. And you're doing just the same by flaming others for your coinflips.
Game 1 : xayah flaming tilterella as renata supp for "standing afk for 1s and eat varus Q", when he actually was rooted, is the most adc thing ever. In her defense, tilterella himself couldn't believe that this maokai ult actually hit him. And reksai running away from the fight the second he gets the renata W is a good embodyment of the kind of facepalms you just inevitably take in soloQ. Game 2 : while I'm all in for these alternative strats that tilterella's doing, I also understand vayne when she says she doesn't want him in lane : he's soaking XP, leaving his ADC in the mud, when vayne could easely just stomp the toplane by herself and tilterella could just stay bot to let xayah play the game. It's unoptimal, if you sack your bot to get a lead in top, it's pretty much -1 bot for a +1 top, and it neutralises. Even if you're getting a bigger lead in top than in bot, it might just be +1.5 -1. While without all that, you could have vayne just stomp the lane by herself, maybe even with the help of the lvl 1 cheeze to ensure it, and make it a +1 top with neutral bot. The second case is objectively better, 1-0=1>1.5-1=0.5. Also, with that laneswap, by making top a 2v1 and bot a 1v2, he's making it unfair and unfun, and even very frustrating for both aatrox and xayah, but also for vayne and ennemy bot who can't really enjoy a fair lane. Basically wasting 5 player's fun for his own. And that would be enough justification to get mad at you. I gueninely don't think vayne was mad because of tilt's gameplay, but rather, she was trying her hardest to point out at the right play to do, because she firmly believed him overstaying top was unoptimal, and I would agree, and do the same. Tilterella not understanding or listening is what got her mad, not his gameplay, I would believe. What else can you do if someone starts invading your lane like that ? I've had it before... She doesn't have anything to do with tilt's revenge against the ADC. Also, I don't think the ADC's behaviour was that bad, to incur such revenge. I'd say tilterella is getting a little quick on the trigger in his jugements, you should at least try to see other's point of view and give them the benefit of the doubt, before labbelling them as the average toxic fuck. This kind of pessimistic judgement is common in LoL, and it's understandable, with the amount of toxicity we're used to see. But using that negative judgement to immediately jump to conclusions, that are subject to misinterpretation, with lack of effort to try to understand others, only contributes to that toxicity we're all trying to avoid or fight. And I think it's a problem, more so than people think. The first misinterpretation of anything you say or do becomes a pretext for a fully committed revenge. Me personnally, I see it quite often in my games. I ping someone for danger, they think I'm flame pinging, get mad, and soft int / flame. And the worst is they think they're right and justified, that it's all a wrath incurred under the sense of some misplaced justice, which makes it even more annoying. Anyway, the game turned out okay, and breaking conventions is always nice, but in this specific case, just because odds turned out in his favour doesn't make it right, and there's a likely world where vayne isn't just the average douchebag that tilt's trying to make her seem like, but where she's right and controlled and tilterella's actually the douchebag. Game 4 : poor darius, hate to see it, he got the true toplane experience. Should've pushed towers harder, for plates, and proxied for tempo, jungle camps, counter jungling or roams... Lack of macro from him i guess. Also, he sounded like a nice guy, all he wanted was a good fight in top, which tilterella constently denied. Wouldn't even call it BM, he probably just wanted a fair game. At least, no bounds were crossed in that case. I just don't like how people always immediately assume the worst out of anyone. It's inherently toxic.
This is the biggest comment I’ve ever seen. As for game 2, Your logic is correct if vayne is playing meta top lane. But in this case there’s an adc top and an adc bottom. All I’m doing is redistributing which lane will suffer. Zeri and lulu should theoretically punish xayah less than vayne and braum can punish aatrox as xayah has range to farm.
@@Tilterella in retrospect, i think both strats work, and it's really hard to tell which is better, considering all the intricacies involved : - there were plenty of opportunities or shit going on to want to stay top for, - Vayne also did plenty of macro and micro mistakes (like diing to tower 1st dive, or with wave control) that made it harder for her to snowball and basically forced you to stay to fix it for her - You staying there also drew a lot of jungle attention, creating leads for your own jung and team indirectly, and creating opportunities like that 1st dive top. Etc. Who knows how the game would've gone if you stayed bot instead ? Maybe, vayne would've just got camped and inted her lane miserably, seeing the mistakes she made ? Or maybe she would've just stomped the lane on her own, or you would've pooped off in the botlane ? I also feel like your presence in top did a lot to mitigate the risk of vayne fucking up top. It also does seem like vayne is not 100% on the same page as you, but she also made plenty other mistakes, so I'd attribute that to incompetence, rather than her being toxic and trying to sabotage you. My main point anyway was more about the bad tendency to quickly label other players as "toxic", rather than who's right or wrong in that situation. But I do understand your view better now. It is indeed annoying to see players not 100% commit to winning, and only focus on weather your playstyle fits their expectations or not, especially when your playstyle is unconventionnal. I'm just not convinced this vayne telling you to go bot was such an occurrence, but it's also not completely unreasonable to get to that conclusion, so my bad for pointing that out I guess. I probably made it seem like a bigger issue than it really was.

I remember why i dont care about honor. When it came out, i was honor 4 with 3 checkpoints. Had an uber racist toxic teammate. Told him he is an idiot and shouldnt play the game. I got reported. Report put me in honor 0 after 7 months of grind. Since that point im consistently getting honor 0 and chat restricted because i couldnt bother anymore.
