I'll love to share a thought with you, question, Does GOD create to destroy, does he repent or lie? The law that no one but HIM wrote is was such a mistake as to send his SON to deliver us from. I am sorry, but you are misunderstanding the significance of the Sabbath. GOD ask us to remember because the Sabbath is a memorial of creation. It is BOTH a physical & a spiritual experience. Yes we are still required to keep the physical day Saturday holy. If you can't keep the law why do we acknowledge and follow the other 9 commandments? The only commandment that we refute is the one that God ask us to remember. You know that the law that is done away with was NOT the 10 commandments, but rather the ceremonial laws. Most of what you are saying is all good, but we really CANNOT explain the SABBATH away, it is simple. The bible explain what keeping the Sabbath holy involves. Every christian should be striving daily to be holy, so yes we can be holy, NOT perfect. We are all preparing for that final Sabbath when we all will rest from our labor.
