“She MUST Resign!” | Mike Graham SLAMS NatWest Boss Over Farage Bank Scandal

The chief executive of NatWest Group is facing calls to resign after she admitted being the source of an inaccurate story about the closure of Nigel Farage’s bank account.
Dame Alison Rose said she made a “serious error of judgment” when she discussed Mr Farage’s relationship with private bank Coutts, owned by NatWest Group, with a BBC journalist.
But NatWest Group chairman Sir Howard Davies said that “after careful reflection” the board members had decided Dame Alison retained their “full confidence”.
TalkTV’s Mike Graham and Kevin O’Sullivan call for the NatWest boss to step down after the Nigel Farage scandal.
Mike: “She'll be gone before the end of the week."
Kev: "She doesn't realise it, but she's out of there!"

Alison Rose's actions of leaking Nigel Farage's banking details to a BBC reporter have ignited a significant controversy, raising serious concerns about her ethical conduct and professional integrity. In light of this egregious breach of privacy and trust, it is imperative that she promptly tenders her resignation as there can be no justification or excuse for such a flagrant violation of privacy rights.

So the Board of Naf West think it is OK for its employees to hand out the personal bank details and status of its customers to people not legally authorised to have that information. Not only must the CEO be fired the board must resign. It was not an error, it was a deliberate and connived act in order to deflect attention from their illegal wrong doing. Any person that holds an account with this untrustworthy bank must now be concerned and very worried, as your personal information is not safe. I hate to say but the committee is bound by the bank's policy it's not their fault for saying water is wet, it more senior people within the bank for creating such a policy. 5:20 The story was already in the public 6:30 It's a disgrace that banks check social media of their customers.... Sorry, this is not a slip of the tongue, for a CEO to discuss persional confidential information publicly in a gathering shows that the bank does not follow protocol or privacy. You have to take training in privacy every year. You are told as a banker not to speak with the news, journalists or any public figure. You have to deduct that this is not the first time. The compliance , AML, FCC and Risk department should go through retraining why you ask because they were all involved in the final decision of this memo. He should sue the bank for breach of Privacy

I've worked in this sector for over 3 decades. Quite frankly I am absolutely staggered that the board have stated they continue to have "full confidence" in a CEO who has breached data protection / regulation policy and law. They all need to go if they can't see she has brought their groups banking status into question like this. It is blatant breach after breach by all concerned. Furthermore, the Tax payer has 39% share in this group (after they really screwed up via RBS at millenium with their obsession with risk taking via bank expansion, ultimately leading multi billion tax payer bailout) so more than any other bank, they should be accountable to the public. Shameful, blatant abuse at the top - like I said, I am staggered this has happened. I do have previous dealings with Coutts & Co, they think they are above typical banks due to the Royal banking connection and to a degree, they are, although they do normally keep 'low key' due to their clients and so avoid regulatory investigation via complaints. I knew someone who owed them millions and they wouldn't even provide documentary evidence to a third party for review, wanting to discuss verbally with the client, so to a degree their unprofessional errors do not surprise me. Natwest however, WOW! it does really look like the swamp of incompetence was never fully cleared out of that place.
