@@quack9958 Well, both corps do video auditions, so there's that. And BD actually spends their camp at the comforts of Laramie Wyoming, not Concord CA.
This young man (and the line) is killing it!! Also.. love seeing corps still using traditional grip. Oh, I don’t think traditional is necessarily better than matched, it’s just nice for this thousand-year-old drummer to see.
I would love to be part of Blue Devils. I’m currently playing tenors for my high school. This is my dream to be on the field with some of the greatest musicians ever !!
So that mean I saw him do his last show when I was in San Antonio which is the year we tried to get Jeff Souza to get in contact with staff for donating cookies they didn't respond so Vanguard got them so Brandon missed out and that was my last year due to Covid
Midass my ass. As far as this snare break goes, BD took top percussion in both content and achievement at Prelim and 2nd in achievement at Finals. So the judges agree that it's nowhere mid. To compare, Cavs percussion took a distant 7th at both shows. Now that is mid ass.
Sorry to burst your bubble but you must be new to the activity so I won't hold that against you. While the Cavs may have written their show to appease the percussion juges, it wasn't well integrated into their overall program at all. This explains why they got no further than 8th place both in music and overall -- a rather sad placement compared to the other top corps that knew how to design their shows to integrate all sections (like BD, Crown, Boston). As far as the snare break goes, weak does not even come close describing to the type of rhythmic modulation. Not all snare breaks are the same technicality. As far as this snare break goes, BD actually took top percussion in both content and achivement at prelim and 2nd in achievement at Finals. So the judges agree that it's nowhere 'weak'. To compare, the Cavs percussion took a distant 7th at both shows. As far as being competitive goes, the Cavs have got a long way to go. Glad to see they're trying.
@@EsidisiofBigBalls well for ur information I been seeing dci since 2001 And still cavaliers are the best for this year for snare licks Yes bd are always good but I don’t get paid or anything for me to defend anything it’s what’s I think And that’s all I’m no pro like your self Hey buddy it’s ok for regular folks to have there own options
@@mcnaryyou don’t understand buddy. BD’s aim is to get no less than 3rd in all captions and get the Founders Trophy, which they’ve now done 21 ( going on 22) times 🤣
