Jason, that's the thing bout being an artist, if you are happy with the turnout, it doesn't matter what others would do to change YOUR design. Cause everyone else would do something different. 500 questions why and 1000 comments of "you coulda', shoulda, I 'da done it this way!" It's definitely an original ! BUT,..I'da .. Lol !
An interesting learning experience Jason...also an exhibit or reminder of what happens when one tries to exceed the structural strength of the piece's base material. Glad you left the wide crack in the bowl. Great video thumbs up.
@@NorthwestSawyer Don't worry Jason those opinions won't hold any water...I'm not gonna ay it...I'm not...alright alright...just like your bowl.🤣 I'm sorry Jason just had to go there, my bad. Still glad you finished the bowl, you could call it, An Exploration into the Effects of Centrifugal Force. Thumbs up.
if you have never been to La Conner Washington, you should go. At the end of the street, (there might be 2) you will find a woodworking shop with all sorts of inspirational stuff, furniture, game boards, bowls and other kitchen stuff and, laser engravings. The place makes me drool. Tulip Time is also near in the Skagit Valley.
You know Jason, there are times when you just gotta step back and try and do some "creative rescue" work. It very much did come out looking quite well. John
