*Los Knacks o The Knacks: Banda argentina que surgió en plena efervescencia de la beatlemanía de fines de la década del 60 aunque en realidad le debe más al agite garage de los primeros The Kinks y The Animals, en esencia una rareza que sonaba como los Dioses y que por el hecho de no comprometer su visión artística terminó separándose cuando la horrenda dictadura de Juan Carlos Onganía prohíbe que los artistas locales canten en inglés.*

Estimado Emi ZC. Lo que cuentas es muy cierto. Nos parecen unos verdaderos valientes al no renunciar a sus principios con respecto a su música, a sus letras en inglés (de ahí la obligación que tuvieron que poner el título también en castellano, y más tarde no permitirles grabar en inglés). Sus canciones nos parecen muy buenas. Hemos tenido la suerte de contactar y hablar con algunos de ellos que , aunque mayores, siguen manteniendo sus ideales, y con las nuevas incorporaciones. Es nuestro pequeño homenaje a esta banda que hizo magníficas canciones. Va por ellos! Gracias Emi ZC!
