In defense of Brian Flores, his firing is vindication. I mean posting back-to-back winning seasons and winning records against the Bills and Patriots with Fitzmagic and Tiny Injury Prone Tua? Look at the teams in the playoffs. Do any of their QB's resemble Tua in any fashion? Being fired by the Dolphins just upped Flores' desire. Now he gets to be picky. He will be in high demand.

He never embarrassed the organization and he did have the Bengals in the playoffs most of the time. Ok, now point to the other Black guys that had the opportunity to fail that long and then put it up against the white guys who have had a long time to fail. No matter how pissy you get, we all know that white men have a longer leash to fail. That’s just the facts.

The fact that Dave Gettleman was allowed to retire is embarrassing. Now I understand he beat cancer and he’s cancer free. God bless him. Wish him nothing but the best in retirement. But I call it like I see it. He should have been fired today, not allowed to retire. His tenure as the Giants GM was about as bad as Phil Jackson’s tenure with the Knicks years ago.

Giants had always been to me a quality highly valued organization; one of the oldest franchises; they won several SuperBowls; rich history of gold jacket players - They are not as highly esteemed any longer; many are saying those dreaded words - worst team in football - The 3rd and nine QB sneak is almost as bad ad the Picarcik fumble

Yup... Must be nice to get the benefit of the doubt. I guess Flores wasn't magical enough like Remeber the Titans, Radio, and Blindside... I remember when Coach Lovie Smith got fired from the Bears after going 10-6, having a winning record versus Green Bay, and getting to the Superbowl with friggin Rex Grossman! The NFL and football in general is a microcosm of America.

I'll take a coach who tries but just isn't good over a coach who just gives up. There's a reason why people love Dan Campbell despite his first season as head coach going like it did. He's there for and believes in his players, and they will run through a brick wall for the guy. And looking at their season, five of their loses were by 7 points or less, and one game ended in a tie.

I remember telling the EXTREMELY cocky Giants fans that Joe Judge wasn't going to work out numerous times since his hiring. The latest was over this past summer when Giants players were quitting left and right at training camp and the team was having a fist fight during practice every other day. Of course the Giants fans did nothing but call me names and tell me how great Judge was and how "only old and washed-up players are retiring" and "fighting at training camp builds camaraderie" and how "running laps builds toughness"...LMFAO!!!! So I would normally feel sympathy for long-suffering fanbases whose teams continue to be dumpster fires but the Giants fans...in my experience...DESERVE Joe Judge and his BS.

I remember the coaching search and I never even heard throughout the process of this guys name coming up at all. All of a sudden that morning it leaks that they are "zeroing in" on Joe Judge. I was like...WTF is this guy? Then heard it was a Belicheckian disciple and I was like... oh dear god please don't. Later that day they announce his hiring. This guy was a hell of a salesman. I don't know what he did to sell himself to the Mara's but damn.... he pulled one over on them bigtime. The whole 2nd season was atrocious and that final game against Washington doing 2 QB sneaks and saying "we're protecting the ball" and down only 3. His press conference after the game was over and they lost badly he was soooooo smug thinking "they ain't gonna get rid of me!". Next morning, pink slip.

Great Head Coaches hire great Coordinators and let them handle their respective duties. Jason Garrett was the Offensive Coordinator through most of the past two seasons, so there you go. And Great Head Coaches accept responsibility for their screw ups. Coach Judge took the road of defiance and stubbornness, and that usually doesn't play too well when your always losing. I'm sure Joe will be just fine, he'll get hired by another team making a huge salary, just not as a Head Coach.
