I assumed that back when they took ages to show up. Also I don’t think food critics announce themselves, otherwise the service is obviously different than an average customer’s would be

I fully believe that food critics should be anonymous. You want a place to be at their best, all the time. Not just when someone internet famous is in the building. My old boss drilled the idea of every customer being a food critic into us, especially when they weren’t.

I have worked in both fast food and retail, and they said the same thing. In this case we had mystery/secret customers/shoppers. You never know who they will be so you always need to be on your A game for everyone.

@@alanafinewoman oh, yeah. That would be awesome. I’ve worked as an anonymous food critic before for some local newspapers. I’d scope a place out for a month or two, eating there regularly, while telling the employees I was in the area on business, gathering information on the restaurants during both slow periods and busy periods. It’s nice to see how a business operates when the employees just see you as a regular customer, not as someone they have to constantly walk on egg shells around to impress because of a name or title.

@alanafinewoman How could you not know? Obviously we love the creativity and w/o any hard data I'd guess half of your audience are in or have been in the service industry; myself included. You say all of the things a lot of people can't so we live vicariously through these skits. ❤

Alanah, I just I would tell you a funny story. I was watching one of your videos on they way to the bathroom, and my 16 yr old son saw me watching it. He followed me into the bathroom without paying attention to where we were. Afterwards, I said like dude you followed me into the bathroom. He replied, "What? Funny?!? Must watch!"

As long as it's stable, clean, and doesn't collapse when you set things on it, it's fine. EDIT: (after seeing the end of the video) Oh, now the table thing makes sense.

Uhhhhhh.......no. First call the MEDIA... "Uhh, TMZ? Yes, we have Cambell Soup being arrested for a host of charges." Then the police: "We have a drunken disorderly person or possibly an escaped mental patient here at the restaurant that needs to be dealt with. He's calling himself...Cambell Soup... and bossing everyone around. Clearly, he's nuts!" Problem solved! 😂😂😂
