One can understand and most of us probably agree with the legislation that targets the rough stuff in gangs but could this same legislation be used against other groups that may get under the skin of the government by disagreeing with them

Australia has more guns now since the buy back, guess who has most of them….. the crims

you guys need to understand the situation in the US, there is a Bill Of Rights and a Constitution that allows people the right to bear arms so it will NEVER change...the president could introduce an executive order to ban automatic weapons etc but no president has the guts to do this....

Now, hold on a second Ben Harvey. You said in your report Troy Mercanti "got off scott free" (which i assume is in regards to his court appearances?) 1:55. I do not know Troy Mercanti, but i feel i need to defend him here in this instance (not just Mercanti, but anyone who has appeared before a judge). For a start, if he has been before a court, and a magistrate has made his/her decision, then we should respect that decision - that's how law court's work in a democratic society Ben. If Mercanti did not go to jail for a criminal offence, then we need to believe that the courts felt that necessary for that point in time. I know about the importance of reporting ALL information on a particular matter, and i believe in journalism for this very reason. This is why i watch your segments. But a true journalist should never have to put any 'spin' on a particular matter - all they have to do is present the facts, as is, and the viewers will make their OWN MIND UP (i know you know this). So Ben, please don't go after certain people for certain reasons - because it makes your journalism seem a bit sloppy, and unprofessional. I hope i do not offend you here mate. I enjoy watching your news segments on matters that involve Perth - but be fair on some topics Ben, because 'bikies' are a sensitive topic that can be easily misconstrued to the public who already hold biased views towards them.

Interesting the cops stuffed up the initial investigation into Hancock's death due to their own incompetence. No wonder they're livid. Nothing worse when your dodgy work is left out to air for all and sundry.

Hang on the Australian “John Howard” disarmed Australians, yet there are a remarkable amount of shootings eg drive-by’s ambush shootings etc… The only people without guns is the average Australian, so don’t tell the average law abiding Americans to give up their guns…!!!

The gun laws are for a tyrannical government. The sooner an Australian journalist recognises the significance of that and stay out of their politics the better...

As a former soldier (I'm now 60....) our Australian culture (now) doesn't advocate that citizens can carry firearms like they do in Mc America. Today you need permits, legal licencing and valid pre issue background investigations before such licences are issued. Then you have all the safe keeping and storage issues of the firearms thrown into the mix. When you take a rational look at firearm ownership, its not because that the firearms are there and legally available to a person, its because the person who owns such a weapon flips out and cowardly uses that firearm to kill other people

There were good guys with guns at the Texas shooting, they all just stood outside arresting parents for 40 minutes! My analogy has always been to replace the word ‘gun’ with the word ‘debt’. Hmm I’m drowning in debt, what is my resolution……. More debt wooo that will fix it!!

The reason they can't touch him he's just a middleman he connects people may have done stuff in his younger days but he hasn't done anything of note that's why he hasn't been convicted of anything😅😅😅😅😅
