Former first minister Alex Salmond has said every nation “deserves a second chance” as he predicted Scotland would be independent in the next decade.
Speaking to Mike Graham on the 10th anniversary of the 2014 referendum, the man who led the campaign for Scotland to leave the UK says “the pain hasn’t entirely gone away”.

RIP Alex. He brought a party on the fringes of Scottish Politics into a dominant government and missed taking Scotland Independent by the skin of his teeth with a result no would have thought imaginable. Scotland has lost a rampant lion today. Rest in Peace, Alex. Without a doubt the Strongest Leader (& First Minister) Scotland has saw in hundreds of years.

I took the trouble to email my local MP regarding important matters and asking questions about pensions etc. She said she would be in touch but never bothered and the same questions are still unanswered today by the SNP. They are liars and are completely conning the people of Scotland

Although the snp lost there is still major dissatisfaction with the union not just in Scotland but all across the uk in wales, Northern Ireland and northern England and if political reform isn’t implemented the union will break up eventually so I believe to solve this the uk should become a federation like Canada and Australia with a lot more devolution to Scotland, wales and Northern Ireland with regional assemblies in England this could do alot for resolving the tensions and dissatisfaction felt with the union across the uk even Churchill proposed a federal uk in the early 20th century
