I just feel the public was owed an explanation about the divorce because they created this image of a very happy couple, especially Khaled, he always gave the impression that he was so in love with Salama.
They never portrayed themselves as the 'perfect couple'; it is the fans and the public who 'assumed' they were. People often show only the best and most positive aspects of their lives on social media. It is our responsibility to understand that no couple is perfect. Just because we see 'seemingly perfect' lives online does not mean there are no issues behind the scenes.
Omg Khalid. This is such a betrayal to your fans and followers. You never even officially announced your divorce but you posted your new engagement picture?! I thought it was a picture of Salama’s and your hand confirming your commitment to each other with the wedding rings and squashing any divorce rumors. But that was your actual engagement picture with your new fiancé. How tone deaf and bizarre for someone whose content was mostly about his marriage and wife. Many people watched your content bc it was family friendly. Now all of a sudden your content with your ex wife has been deleted. Absolutely crude and inappropriate the way you gaslighted the public and then made out to be the victim.
He only criticized those who said ”he definitely cheated, he must have been with the new girl already while they were married etc”, and rightfully so because that’s literally making things up and assuming you know things about someone you actually know nothing about.
After 20 minutes of listening to this interview,I stopped.Because he was not really open and honest about the situation.The host is biased on his side too.
His behavior is incredibly bizarre for a 41-year-old man. When his ex-wife talks about the divorce, she comes across as sad and disappointed, while he just laughs. How insensitive and foolish. This is not an isolated case for this RU-vidr. The lesson for younger women is clear: never invest your time and energy into building a man’s followers or wealth. This guy was not 'dating' a woman for people to feel happy that he was moving on, he was getting 'engaged' which means that he had been in a relationship with her for a long time. Considering the fact that it has been only a few months since they divorced, it can only mean that he had an affair because of which their relationship came to an end. If there was no such thing and if people are merely spreading rumours, why didn't Khalid and Sunaina give people an explanation? Why wouldn't people be disgusted with a person who cheated on his wife who ended up being devastated and even shameless flaunts that he was marrying someone else?
I called it since last year! I even commented on one of his videos that he must have an Indian girlfriend with all the visits to India, especially south India. He was just too invested, it didn't seem like he was just curious about the culture or travelling for his channel. He became almost obsessed with BEING in South India India. He was always here.

it's obvious from the interview if you paid attention - they divorced peacefully just because they would be happier apart, there was no cheating or any other scandal.
Do you even know divorce proceedings takes time? Khalid and Salama were apart and went seperate ways early last year. I don't think 1 and a half year is so fast to know somebody and engaged to. Court finalised everything just this Feb. Some divorce process take 3,4 years also. Plus Salama said she wanted to be alone. Khalid wanted to have a wife. They are just adults making choices
To be honest this interview has not helped the image of Khalid, it made it worse. He didn’t answer anything but prevaricate. The fact is his divorce is already out there and he has not said anything to dilute the so-called lies that is circulating.

When I discovered that my ex husband was talking with other women he said it's permissible for him, and it's his right as a man to talk to other women with the intension of marriage. This is a perfect example for this video :) nowadays men are fitting Islam as they like it's such a pity. Out of respect of the what just happened and what his ex-wife and children must be going through, he could have waited. Unless he was already involved with this woman before the divorce.

Salama knows well what she did when she filed divorce . She knew very well she was going to lose Khalid forever. Salama is not a child. Khalid even helped Salama to open her own business . She used his fame and became successful. You want Khalid cry and live in sadness for another 10 years ? Any way Salama not going to be his wife any more. As I observe, most of the people who become well-known have broken marriage. Why is that so? In Muslim, we believe in evil eyes. To the situation of Khalid, since he is travelling so many places, he somehow discover many things that change his mind, like seeing many types of girls which are not present to his wife that leads his emotion to his wife faded, that's the sad reality. The best thing is in order to protect our good relationships, learn to be contented. Khalid has everything but still prioritised his happiness over his family.

People want an explanation because no one saw it coming. They don't need the most intimate details but a heads up would've been nice.
