I am NOT condoning violence, but we aren't being listened to. We are being ignored and we have legitimate concerns that are being dismissed simply by calling us "far right" and therefore our opinions don't count. How long do you ask your child to behave before you escalate to getting physical? We are not being listened to and we haven't been listened to for a VERY long time now, so people are starting to escalate - it is unfortunate but completely understandable. So Starmer's inflammatory speech just doubled down on us not counting and giving the Stasi more power to stomp on our faces even more. I am in the north of Scotland, and never experienced any of these issues, but I am very sympathetic to the English, Welsh, and Irish people who are. You don't need to be experiencing this to understand it is frustrating, and life changing to those who do. We should have stopped migrants, years ago. I'm retired and had looked forward to being out of the workforce, however, since retiring Ireland has changed beyond belief, it's unsafe, the city centre (Dublin) is crawling with migrants to the point it's hard to spot an Irish citizen. At the age of 70, after working hard all my life, and raising two children, I go out and clean houses to supplement my meager pension. My once beautiful city is overrun with filthy tent encampments full of criminals and drug addicts who have addled their brains with street drugs and are mentally ill. And they bring in about a million new immigrants every year- that they admit to. There is a severe housing shortage here from bringing in people without any forethought to where they would live. I was a police officer for 30 years in Scotland and could not agree more with your assesment. Over the period of my service I watched as more and more senior officers were promoted because they were a safe pair of hands, they spoke politically correct language, they never made any waves. These people were absolutely pointless, clueless individuals who joined the police having come through school then university with no life experience let alone police experience. They learned to be police officers by reading, then talking that strange language they all use. Many of them during their probationary period avoided any confrontation as they believed that any complaint may affect their future careers, the hard work was left to others, within a few years many of these useless individuals were telling these cops how to do the job, they never realised that many cops simply saw them as idiots, but it didnt matter to them, they held the rank. The entire system is broken, and has been for a number of years, these self-entitled useless individuals are now running things and look where it has got us.
