I keep coming back to this video. I think I have watched it up to 50 times now. Your other videos I have done about a dozen or so. I love this channel.
TGood Evening from teh Motor City! Well d0Ne Sir Sit Ubu, Sit, G00D Dog: I Say that All the Damn Time, People Look at me Like an Idi0t LOL My Youngest Lady, 10, Loves Inspector Gadget, we watch it all the time,. the OG show not the new crap
I for sure want more of these. I think I have "listened" to this same video at least 30 times now. Makes me happy and depressed at the same time. Depressed since we are getting old and happy as it brings me back fond memories of days gone by that I would give almost anything to go back to even for a day.
@@LUCKO2022 thanks for checking out the video, and for coming back to it! I get the bittersweet feelings for sure, such is nostalgia. But I hope reflecting on the past can bring some peace and happiness! I’ll definitely do another one of these soon.
That was awesome! Would love to see more of these. The chimes to turn the page on the record was a sound I hadn't remembered in decades but instantly brought me back to listening to my fisher price record player in my "fort" in the closet with a blanket hanging over the bar. Thanks for the trip!
totally agree with what was said at the start. I watch a ton of YT but the way you do this, the music, the everything is more nostalgic and ASMR then any other channel i know of. Keep doing what you do, more people will discover this
I use head phones to listen to videos. This was fantastic! The sprinkler was something I heard every summer. The neighbors had them all over their yard. We use to play in them. If you got close it felt like it might peel your skin off. Some of that I had forgotten about. Wow! Sounds are a big deal. Smells are right there as well. I have memories of almost every sound you played. Good stuff!
@@TheCassettePhase did your family have those sprinklers? Did you play in them? With headphones, it's awesome surround sound, without the cost of actual, surround sound, lol.
@@lisae7976 we didn’t have those sprinklers in our yard, but they were all over the neighborhood. We would run through them, but you’re right, you wouldn’t want to get too close!
I haven't thought about David the gnome in probably 30 years. The after these messages thing is classic. Sally Struthers diploma thing is unintentional comedy, how she looks like she's reading the stuff as its scrolling on the screen. Good stuff as always.
I need a TV/VCR combo like that. Have lots of old tapes, but buying a TV and a VCR separately will be a hassle what with all the cables and adapters. Nice vid man, keep it up.
Awesome sounds! I actually had that exact laser gun toy when I was a kid in the 90's. It was given to me by Nichelle Nichols, a.k.a. Lieutenant Uhura on Star Trek. She was in town for a Star Trek convention, one of the last ones we had here, but I couldn't go because I was in the hospital. So, it was arranged for her to come visit me in the hospital and bring the convention to me instead. I also got my original Nintendo Game Boy from her as well.
@@TheCassettePhase Yeah, it was wild. It was basically the Canadian equivalent of Make-A-Wish. They even sent me to Los Angeles to visit the set of Star Trek: The Next Generation about six months after my meeting with Nichelle. It was really cool! Alot of toys made those sounds back in the day if they were just generic toys that weren't attached to a movie or TV show or cartoon.
@@TheCassettePhase I've had health issues my whole life and am physically disabled, but these days I'm the healthiest I've ever been. But yeah, that was a cool trip. I also got to go to Disneyland. In the 90's. It was great! Lol. Yeah, when I saw that laser gun toy I recognized it immediately. And the sounds it made were so iconic. Also, I didn't have that Fisher Price tape player, but, I did have the Playskool Talk 'n' Play when I was a kid. I used it as a tape player so much.
