Just what I thought Joseph did the right thing bombed the left ear and makes him lost his balance just like Tyson did so if you know his weak point you can win Wilder.
@@richardwell6822Once wilder gets a half decent punch to the head he puts his chin way up in the air ... wilders cv has more padding than a tampax factory ..... levels to the game
This is what a true fighter looks like. Had disappointments but never made excuses (could have made a real fuss about the Whyte head clash, for example) and kept on. Always been a really talented, well-rounded guy and the reality is he is 31 and still a baby compared to some, but very seasoned. Some big fights ahead for Jopa and when the belts are scattered after Fury Usyk. Jo has put himself right back in the mix. First champion from NZ is amazing, 2 time champion sounds great
THE most genuine human being in professional boxing. The kind of fella to whom everyone should wish all the success in the world. No childish nonsense, silly name calling or dissing opponents. Respect is a two way street and Joe always says it like it is, with zero excuses if he under performs and zero OTT ego bullshit when he does what he did to Deontay Wilder. A truly great fighter and atruly great human being. All the best Joseph 🙏
Gypsy Joe is Royalty in Morecombe, a new adopted home. Tyson's family and the people in that area know he's a real one, a genuine gentleman and great sporting role model. Andy Lee really got Parker's engine revving, and Wilder was totally shut out. You've earned a good rest and quality time with your family in NZ Joe. Congrats brother... the best man won!
Congratulations Joe you put on a clinic for 12 rounds against one of the hardest punching heavyweights of all time and came out unscathed his country and family should be proud and he should get a title shot
what makes people think wilder is the hardest puncher in boxing history?????? Wilders a hype job who did he knock out?????? journeymen and ortiz???? wilder just isnt as good as people think and he doesnt punch harder than the other top fighters Nganou or Zhang probably hit harder
@@BoxingKingMedia I agree. I just wish that Wilder would pack the whole "I think I won" sour grapes nonsense in. The tripe he came out with after the Fury fights has done him no favours.
I feel like Parker's management this whole year has been top notch. And most fighter's should try and emulate what he did. 4 fights in a year to stay active was a smart move. 3 tune up fights and 1 fight at the end against a top boxer to top it off. Brilliant management tbh.
Well said. Barry took him as far as he could. But with Andy and Fury in his corner, he is a far better boxer. He also listens to their advice and goes out and executes the plan. That's the key, as well as having actual boxing skills.
Im from SA..but have huge respect for Joe in the boxing ring, (from a SA Rugby perspective i dont enjoy New Zealanders.. purely rugby based lol) But Joe is something special, If there was one upset i wanted to see, it was this fight, Joe systematically picked apart and destroyed Wilder, what a great match, fantastic coaching team and perfect all around performance, huge follower of Joe even more so now wish Joe, family, and entire coaching team all the best for 2024, lets get a title.
Humble, respectful and obviously underrated. Well done Parker a well deserved victory. It will be interesting to hear Wilders post fight interview, however, I have it on very good authority, he will not be blaming whoever filled his boots with all that desert sand, neither will he name the camel that took the padding out of parkers gloves.
You've made a lot of Kiwi's very Proud Joe! Stats mean nothing, it's only the result (& learning experience) that matters. I believe there will be a lot of pro fighters right now looking very closely at your overhand punches, an absolutely gold move that people simply hadn't envisioned coming and rocked Wilder's world with a big surprise. Great to see your Mana shinny through. Congrats bro, welcome back to NZ real soon and to reunite you with your loved ones - Peace dude✌️
I thought Joe was done at the top end of the sport but after that performance he looks like he has that gritty determination again, seemed very confident tonight, boxed so well, and nearly stopped wilder.. great effort deserves more great nights now.
I could see Parker was more determined up to this one but I had pretty much him written off a year ago also. I knew he was a better boxer than Wilder (no secret there) but I still didn't think he would be able to keep his head (which he keeps static) out of the way of Wilder's big right hand, but if he got to the late rounds he could win, and so he did. I feel sorry for Wilder (as I do like him too) but I don't think he has gotten over the Fury loss (seems he has gone soft in his thinking since). But so glad for Joe. I am a NZer and Joe is just a typical good humble NZ bloke and so good to see one of our Polynesian guys get up into the top echelons of boxing, since the David "the Terminator" Tua. The Tua Man. 😊
The young Joe Parker is back.....This dude reminds of thr young Joe Parker.with the ko power and not dancing of the back foot .....The lunging hooks and punches....The agressivensss .....Yo man Joe is back!!!I hope he continues this route....He is only 31 and still can be a champ!!!
Legend - the fact that you had Wilder boxing on the back foot from the off tells you everything about levels. I think Parker is still improving and moving forward whereas all the major players are standing still or enjoying their spoils a bit too much. Parker vs Usyk could possibly be fight of the year contender if it happens.
What a guy Joe is man his success couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke. He's always been a technician and he proved once again last night that he can mix it with any of the top heavy weights. Well done Sir well done. Almost forgot to shout out Andy Lee! What a job he's done with Joe from the school of Manny Steward knows his boxing congratulations to him and the rest of team great game plan from start to finish.
It wasnt just a big scalp but from a financial standpoint a big money drawcard especially with Wilder in their. They both took home US$10million each. I'd be happy to get knocked the f*** out anyday for that kind of money😂
Proud of you Joe, in and out of the ring. Representing nz & samoa with grace and humility. Picked yourself up after your setbacks and fought on like a champ. So happy for you and your family. Merry xmas from south aux
Brilliant interview BKM and Joe ...well done fella. Ive been supporting you for years and you're only getting better. Big shout out to Andy Lee and the team. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Whatever you think of Wilders inactivity in the ring those last rounds from Parker to go for the stoppage when he didn’t need to was freakin lion-hearted. 🦁
Hope he makes lots of money because he is a credit to the Sport. Wilder got found out by a good boxer. Congratulations to Joseph may it continue for you. I won hundred and fifty on you so thanks.🎯👍🥊😉
, Usyk and Parker are a credit to boxing ,no bad mouthing, showing off, Swearing, or Sillyness, win or loose. They are well respected and true Champions. in side, outside the ring.
One could argue that Wilder has lost his killer instinct. But looking back at the fight, Parker actually dodged many of those haymakers Wilder threw. Even got caught with a few here and there. But the guy has a chin. And most importantly came in with a plan and heart.
Congrats Joe. So proud of you for being a champion, then after losing your titles making the call to make a comeback, and be successful and back on track. Love that quote from the Rocky movies as it epitomises your career: “You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!”
Most casual fans need trash talk and controversy to spike their interest in the sport; I get it - that's the game. But there are still some of us who love warriors in the ring and (seemingly) sound blokes outside it. Young men - these are the people to look up to.
Damn i like this guy man. He had every right to be like ya, i knew i was going to win, i nlknew i was going to dominate, i knew deonty couldn't hang, but he didn't, he stayed very humbled and seems like a very nice guy that his parents raised right
Fury took wilders soul in the trilogy, wilder got so exposed parker knew he had nothing to fear .Sorry guys ,only wilder could never box ,when he clashed with real fighters who didnt fear him eg fury ,parker. We all saw the reality .
Theres nobody in boxing as humble and down to earth as Joseph Parker. Hes a real good person he's liked by most people every other boxer is running their mouths off bla bla but Joseph keeps his composure and maintains his dignity. Congratulations Joseph 👍💪😎
Iv been watching Parker for what feels like at least 10 years. He has worked his way up and is a great boxer. He should be proud of what he has done so far and I’m sure over the next few years he is really going to shine. He has done the hard yard. No short cuts. Great win mate
A great fighter and a great guy - hope he has lots more success in his career. Really good to see a normal interview with a great fighter, rather than the bluster and showmanship we normally get.
Joshua has not been avoiding him at all wilder said himself he turned down more money to fight aj he instead opted to fight a fury that hadn't fought for 2 years even then he only faught fury because he thought he was finished wilder has only faught 2 top 10 fighter's now and got beat by both and on that performance he doesn't get anywhere near Joshua simple
@@johnstellenboom947 hey man it's ok. I know this was a rough year for y'all. Fury got beat up by an MMA fighter, Joe Joyce got knocked the fuck out, Teo beat the hell out of Taylor. Its ok man. Deep breaths.
What a man! Most boxers egos wouldn't let them praise another man let alone call another boxer the "best in the world". Bro really does appreciate Tyson and gives him so much praise and ofc the great Andy Lee.
I was at the weigh in for Joshua/Ruiz Jr 1 at MSG. I must have been looking at my phone or something, but Joseph tripped over my leg as I was kind of in the aisle a bit. Had a short laugh until I realized I just tripped Joseph Parker. I just shook his hand and froze up and didn't have anything interesting to say. It was like when General Zod offered Superman his hand and Superman crushed it. I got to party at John Sullivan's up the street with his promoter David Higgins. You start talking boxing with this man after a few and it is a good time. He got so riled up I wanted to book him against Joshua.
Congratulations Joseph, amazing fight, the performance of the night !! Couldn’t be happier, well deserved victory for one of the true class acts in the fight game !!!
