@@totallybonkers2447 - You aren't a central bank and you're not an elite. They have confiscated gold and silver in the past. Back in the 60s/70s you were only allowed 5 gold coins in the UK. If you had more than that you had to be a dealer, and had to prove it. When Thatcher came to office she ended all that and let everyone buy as much gold as they wanted. In the US they confiscated gold in 1933 and silver in 1934. If you buy either, then make sure you do not leave a digital trail. Also, do not buy more than ten thousand pounds worth from the same dealer in any 12 month period as the dealer has to keep a special record of that for the government.
