During their conversation with Russian soldiers, residents of Sudzha district in Russia’s Kursk region have said that they were actually Ukrainians. Speaking to the military in Ukrainian, the residents said that the majority of Ukrainian-speaking residents of Kursk region are originally from Ukraine and expressed their dissatisfaction with the Russian authorities. Residents said that Ukraine has the right to choose the European path, and Russia has no right to interfere in this choice. We see all the innovation from Ukraine, very clever people. If Ukraine had the same amount of equipment and ammunition as Russia at the start of putins invasion it would have been over in a few months. Rostov is a historically Russian city. Yes, some Ukranians visited and there is some similarity in the cultural aspects, but it's a russian city. There may be some people like that, but it's not a main thing.. Some are there tho, true.. Ukraine has its own territories to take.. Ukranian Donbass is different than the Russian vision of it. There are similarities. But Ukraine wants its own territories back, Ukraine does things differently than russia.

It would be nice for Kursk to be part of Ukraine and Russia gets part of the Donbas region, so this damn war can come to an end. But the reality prevails. I saw videos where citizens of Kursk said although Ukrainian military were treating them well, they still want to be part of Russia when the conflict ends. I bet the younger generation do not know how to speak Ukrainian and are certainly more aligned with Russia. Besides, I doubt after all the blood spilled, Ukraine is willing to give up an inch of their territory so the fighting will continue. Very sad ☹️
