@@phoenixj1299 we saw the kind of spinlessness that Modi showed in the Nupur Sharma case, how he bowed down in front of some small Arab countries His handling of karyakartas getting masacareed everyday in Bengal,
It's not only intellect but even charisma, the modi name is popular even at village level, if jaisankar ji grabs that then he is worthy, iam in favour of your thought but in political scenario it's tough decision
Dr. Jai Shankar has made Foreign policy and national security subjects of discussion in Paan shop and chai dookaan. He is made a subject of public discussion. That itself is a big achievement .
Yes we hd never seen such interest among normal people mostly young generation about G20 like global summit. This govt has truly made this a household topic by taking it out of a closed-room to almost all parts of Bharat. Nd now a days people hv taken a keen interest about foreign policies n foreign affairs. This is truly remarkable. Nd we love you sir ❤️
“If someone wants to be stuck in 1983, it is their choice but sorry the world has moved on and we are in 2023” a statement only Jaishankar can conceive to blast the non essentials.
“Bharat is India”… The name Bharat existed before the name India came into existence. I am glad we have a minister who knows what he is talking about. Thank you Dr. Jaishankar for what you are doing for the country.
Bharat is a Hindi word and that is fine. Externally we were called India as the land of the Indus Valley. It was called India for over a thousand years. Both names are valid.
I'm an Indian living in the US and seeing the Western chaos firsthand. India has a much bigger role to play than we realize. India needs to step up to form International Standards, Educational Standards, and moral standards. The world is looking for a leader.
I respect your view. 140 crores population and less than 8% honestly pay income tax. Even as a responsible citizen our inclination is always to evade taxes to save our individual money by paying in cash and allowing the businessmen to evade taxes. We need to love and respect our country like Japan. Parties are using the taxpayers' money to give relief even to those who can afford to pay. Country is forced to take further loans to service sustainability.. we will be a force to reckon with. I am sure
He is second most popular & most followed politicien after Modiji in Central cabinet. He is the gem in world diplomacy & by far most popular Foreign Minister in the world.Kudos to him for making India proud globally.
Listening to measured and well considered statements by Dr. S. Jaishankar is always a pleasure. Shows how domain experts can bring so much more to the table, than career politicians. India is indeed going thru a fine phase, being led by PM Modi and having Dr. SJ as his EAM, though most others in the Union Cabinet are mediocre at best.
The clarity of thought and expression, the tone of humble persuasiveness, the confidence of a representative of a great Nation - one simply can't escape being captivated and impressed by EAM Jaisahankar Sir !
Minister Dr Jaishankar talks with conviction and authority. A sign of great stature and maturity never seen in the foreign office of Bharat in the last 75 years. Done us proud. Bless him.
India diplomacy to counter world challenges is in safe hands as sir's diplomacy is out of the box we as citizens enjoys when sir roars outside India 🇮🇳
We never witnessed such a beautiful, able, diplomat, educated and having comprehensive knowledge with global politics or geopolitics in different avenues. He is after our heart. May God give him strength and light to steer India in the right direction. May he live long. Vandemataram. Jay Maa Bharati.
Dr. Jaishankar's statement; We are India, we know how to handle the world, completely agree with it; those lines are assertive and important to say as that is the only language the "first world" (Western European mindset) understands and respects. Love and Respect for the best ambassador of India!!!
What an interview, matlab maaza aa gaya 😍. Good, To the point questions & as always the answers which satisfy you to the core. Jay ho Jaishankar baba ki.
We feel so proud to have people like Jaishankar ji leading the nation.. Thank you so much for bringing this podcast but the kind of questions Smita madam asked, it shows how small her world is, her perception about Bharat needs to be enhanced.
Journalists are expected/supposed to ask (be the mouth piece) of the people and not any lobbyists/power brokers / networks - with that in mind, yeah sure, Smita madam asks some seemingly silly question(s) but its good to ask these and a contrarian public view (hopefully true) makes such interviews not a speech or a boring monologue!!! Larger questions to find out: (1) Indian leaders think that the smaller cities/communities should understand the world more - are they ready? Is the government helping them get ready ? It may not be the best thing out there to do to expose some dated cultural aspect from unassuming people of India to the world!! India World and the World is not always what you think it is... (2) As much as Jai Shankar praises Mr Modi and attributes everything to that mindset (maybe largely true or may not all that be - Lord Sun knows :-) ) BUT why is Mr Modi not seen having a sit down with media, journalists and air the same?? So far, that is the perception - maybe he also needs to get ready for the "world"..
@@arjunraj823 There was a time when indians been called the burdens of Brits , Indians and dogs are not allowed and so on ...as a 19 yrs old as far as I think with my limited knowledge we should not use anything to represent our country whether it is name or something else which is given by others . We should know who we actually are .
@@IndicShubham India is a beautiful name. If someone used it to harass the people doesn't mean its not worth it. India and Bharat are used in the country. Internationally its India. Because we have created such a strong brand name that nations (Indies, Indonesia) and ocean (Indian ocean) are named after that brand. Bharat only sounds good when people pronounce it like us. English speaking people will be butchering the word and its cringe.
@@ChillHeal-tx1ln Please Modi Sir, don't change name from India to Bharat I support BJP but removing the name India will not be in our favour. India is a brand that we built. for 75 years.
@@baazinews1027 bro see what S. Jaishanker said....they are not changing india name it was just rumors....he clear that both name will be there in constitution....
The responsibility of the foreign minister is not just negotiate with other countries, not pledging the self pride and self esteem, but to make the country is respected and respected that its due. This is the first time that Bharat is seen and valued as a power that can't be ignored.
Simply brilliant! I can listen to his logic and pragmatic approach all day! All the best to India and all the other countries who will be participating in the upcoming G20…
What a clarity. Amazing. His cohesive and unambiguous answers are precise and upto the point. His polished and polite and honest response is too good to resist. He carried his professional acument throughout this intreview. One of the best EAM India ever had. He is the pride of Bharat. Great days ahead.
One of the best interviews in terms of coverage and the adroitness and deftness with which our EAM is putting his views right across the table to the suave and charming questioner who tries to bring the best from the minister. Very enjoyable. Kudos to both . Jai Hind Jai Bharat
@@hegdevishcorrect In fact we should start running a campaign for Yogi2024, only then Modiji will leave his seat in 27 or even 29 for Yogiji Else even in 29 he may continue himself or make Amit Shah go ahead of Yogiji
An out standing questions and mind blowing answers. Where was this man 10 years before? He speaks to the point. His words are like sword hard truth. Speaking with facts and figures. Not less than Modi
26:52 India, that is Bharat. Existed in the Constitution. Bharat, meaning and understanding and connotation that comes with it and we have to accept it.
This specific episode is a wonderful crash course on understanding the 'Global Arena' and what the G20 is all about. Also, it sheds light on India's very effective yet indirect "Big Brother" approach toward unity, support and peaceful partnership with countries from "First World to Third World", (if such a thing still exists); in a rumbling grumbling yet quasi docile political economic global climate. India's subtle coercion via inclusion regarding countries which would normally be excluded is heartwarming, and thank you to the Indian Govt under PM Modi, for its wisdom kindness and inclusion. Thank you to Dr Jaishankar, and the hostess for her mode of questioning which enabled hearing such clear and concise explanations or revelations. This segment needs to be shown in all primary and secondary schools, and then have the kids participate or debate for the 'fun of it', which is hands-on learning. I have incurred quite a bit from this segment. Thank you both and pranam.
Most of the questions put forward by Smitha Prakash were exactly the ones that made most of the Indians a bit anxious till this interview. Good job with the research and preparation before this interview by Smitha Prakash. And as always Dr. Jaishankar, Indians are very blessed to have you as our EAM working under able leader like our dear PM Modi. Hope this dreamrun never ends for India...err...mmm....Bharat - as per the Indian Constitution :)
Our PM and ministers are excellent and brilliant performance way to hold the world together. Great event and opened the opportunity. Last 10 years the transformation and this submit shows the power of india in growth, acceptance, presence, holding power with love, respect and happiness for every one.
Great personality and his ability is being fully utilised under present govt. His continuous effort placed India at different position in world politics. Once again thanks to modi govt for selecting Jaishankar sir as EAM.
Dr. Jaishanker is a seasoned diplomat turned politician who is working hard as external affairs minister. Have bright prospects to be next PM after 26th end or early 27th.
To be frank Narendra Modi is respected in the world and the major reason is our EAM. the way he projected India in last 3 years and the goodwill that India has achieved is unmatachable.
Stalin used santana dharma to get popularity. If ppl of TN have the guts they should not give this party single vote. All religions are good. If he is living peacefully in this country its only because of Santana Dharma. He can go to any neighbouring country right away
@vijayanthibn4036 - I dont think TN people have guts because they are being fooled and they are in fools paradise. I am sorry for being harsh. forget TN rest of south indian states are like that they worship local family parties like gods and those family parties are fooling again and again, only when they feel the heat the time would be lost.
I dont thinkTamil people even talk about this...they dont care....DMK will win 90% loksabha seats....South Indians really hate North Indians brother.....What happened in Karnataka bro....Congress said they will ban Bajrang dal, they will repeal anti conversion law etc but still Karnatka has choosen Congress...Hindus dont care their relegion...We dont respect our regelion....
Forget DMK for a minute, If Hindus in India cared do you think Congress could have won any elections in India? As far as TN is concerned, I have heard Annamalai saying that it's normal in TN so, actually, it will have no impact on TN, it might solidify his party position.
Modi has chosen the gems, appointed each one in a way that they can perform in their best in the national interest. Jaishankar was there during the congress rule, but he didn't shine, Modi gave him full power, gave him what he deserved, shown trust in him and the results are in front of us. It is all about leadership and the political will.
Every time I hear him speak I feel so safe, humbled and grateful and also powerful at the same time. I hope he stays in governance till he his fit and healthy. I hope to see him in internal affairs and not just external affairs.
India have mega plan about building a Chip industry but nothing happens. The Chinese took just 1566 days to make a 7nm chip and put it in a phone which rival the best in the world.
