I’ve always thought (no offense) that brockhampton is not really good at interviews. It still looks a little bit uncomfortable for them to do but I really enjoyed hearing their perspective on fame, their goals, future of the group, their sound etc. I really hope they will stick together and be by each other’s side as long as it can be. They are super important to lots of people and they are doing an amazing job! I do think over time they will become one of the most influential groups. Sorry for the long comment
misguided ghost what does that even mean? Good at interviews? They’re just themselves, uncomfortable or not. Interviews are always extra burden to the artist anyway; as all they care about is the art and don’t really want to sit there talking about what others can find out on the internet.
Marty having public speaking skills is a real craft. They don’t have opportunities to show their social skills. They awk. They aren’t good at interviews. It’s simple to grasp lol this interview was was as fuck
Marty I agree interviews are an extra burden but also a part of job of any musician; it’s a soft skill. They are just themselves, okay, this is amazing but it doesn’t change the fact that they need to work on doing that type of stuff to make it less uncomfortable. It’s possible to be themselves and answer questions the way they like but to do it faster and smoother. Big group like bh should probably have some spokespersons (and practice as well) who will be ready to give answers without unnecessary pauses. I’ve seen these things in their previous interviews when no one knew what to say so it seemed pretty awkward.
You’d think with this many people involved in the band, there would be an endless amount of answers to the questions posed in these interviews. But instead they all sit there like this •____• (They’re the cutest though)
I feel like some of them are introverts (until they got on the stage, of course). But I reckon some of them just don’t feel like talking at times. Imagine them all talking over each other in the interview, it would just be overwhelming and too much. Sometimes people just can’t be bothered answering things, I know I can’t at times
It’s like when ur trying to have a conversation with someone but u both just talk past each other and u feel weird but it’s too late to just leave so ur stuck with them until the awkward silence is long enough for u to find a shitty excuse and run
@@Reminji Ah well NI is part of the UK not the Republic of Ireland so that's why they brought up Bearface when talking about a London influence in the music since NI would share a lot more culturally with the UK than with Ireland at this point.
I think smaller groups of brockhampton should be interviewed at a time, it will allow more of the members to speak and not waste the other members time
Does the interviewer not have a sense of humor or was he like forced to do this interview? Like damn, even when they told jokes and shit he was just waiting for them to stop lmao
The interviewer sucked! I don’t think he even listens to their music or knows anything about them. I mean he had to read their names of the paper he was looking down at. He made the interview awkward. I don’t think the boys were awkward at all, it was him. With his awkward laughs and shitty ass questions
Nathaniel Zaccagnini Kevin has always looked up to Shia as an artists. They recently got to meet him and gain a friendship with him over the summer because of his group therapy type thing he does in LA
15:10 Romil said some of the realest shit I done ever heard, I really fucked with his answers all throughout the interview, but this shit in particular was so simple yet so deep and true
