I completely sobbed cause Tina tried so hard to convince Linda to leave her show and go see Louise. And when you really think no one was gonna show Tina comes in as big sister ❤️ it was beautiful
Yeah I burst into tears when Linda realized Tina wasn’t in her costume anymore, she really is such a sweet and emotionally intelligent little girl ❤ great show writing
Probably one of the purest moments for Louise. Tina showcases time and time again why she’s the best big sister in animation. I do kind of want to hear her reindeer poop poem, though.
Tina is the worst. Few redeeming actions sprinkled throughout the series doesn't negate the fact that she would sell her family by pieces for a cute boy's butt. And the writers are now morally obligated to release the second poem or use it in some other episode.
@@maksimbolonkin all the characters would trade their family for something they really want... just like how gene woould probably sell his family for a sound board.. or how bob would sell them for some nice ass kitchen supplies. these characters aren't supposed to be fully likable, they're supposed to be REAL.
@@kylah8334 Bob would do anything for his family, never even once he did anything against his family interests. He would tell them that he loves turkeys on thanksgiving more than them but based on his actions we'd see he's just joking. Same with Gene, he might be clumsy, forgetful, but he never is intentionally malignant. While Tina times and times again betrayed her family, her siblings for boys. If she saw a boy on her way from the dancing to the poem reading she'd follow the boy and abandon Louise without any hesitation. So she might be real (I never saw girls like that though) but she's definitely not "the best".
@@maksimbolonkin There’s an episode where Bob makes a subtle comment about trading his entire family for an expensive kayak if the kayak would have him lol That’s just one example.. I also feel like Tina has had great character development throughout the show. Yeah in the beginning she was how you described, but as the series goes on she gets much better. Same goes for the rest of the cast, the character development is the best we have ever seen within a animated sitcom so far, atleast that’s my strong opinion.
The double take she does when she sees Tina, the clearing her throat because Tina was there and gave her the boost she needed. How she looks around almost surprised by the applause and the slight smile. It’s just such a perfect moment. This has been the best episode of bobs burgers yet.
Everyone absolutely crushed it this episode. Gene really came out of left field with that emotional xylophone melody. So much warmth, gentleness, and passion and it proves how far he's come musically, and this was the perfect example of "less is more"
@@hoalanho Nono she was doing what she could. She was torn up because she wasn't sure anyone would be there to support her daughter. Linda's great. She loves her kids and would have done anything to be in all of the ir performances at once.
@@siegejaymooniialso, everyone thought louise wasn't taking the poetry reading seriously. even louise wasn't sure she was taking the poetry reading seriously. but tina realises how important it is so she sacrifices her thing to be there for her sister. god, what a beautiful episode
The build-up alone made me tear up. I really thought Louise would be alone which broke my heart but I'm glad tina showed up. You could tell Louise did want someone to be there for support.
TINA CAME TO SEE HER SISTER SO SHE WON'T BE ALONE AH 😭. She left her own thing to support her sister im crying. Tina is the best she loves her family so much. It's obvious Tina will always have her family's back. But in this scene it just reminded me that she will always be there for her sister. (And the rest of her family of course). God I just love their sisterly bond so much. Look at Louise's face when Tina comes in, she's so relieved and happy. God I just love this episode and mokent so much.
THIS! This is what the series needed. Not saying that it’s been bad but Bob’s Burgers really needed this episode to show the fans that they’ve still got it. After a tumultuous few seasons this shows that they still care week to week and that they’ll never forget the true heart of this series. Easy S tier and possible top 5 episode of all time
I've always liked bob's burger but I felt like the recent seasons were mediocre compare to their older ones but this ep shined a light that warmed my heart. I hope they keep going with this
A small reason that the more recent episodes have seemed mediocre is because they were working on the movie and also were trying to make episodes at the same time
This....... this is why this show broke the curse of Fox animated originals flopping. Bobs Burgers, even 13 years after it started, is still pure and loving.
As beautiful as this moment was that shot of Bob with the camcorder was so subtly powerful and spoke volumes without saying a word. Bob's Burgers is without a doubt the best written show on tv.
"what's around the tree" by louise belcher i can't see what's around the tree when i'm pawing through the presents but when i sit back and get my present unwrapped i look up and i see my parents i see and smell my brother, that's clearly where the gas is and i see my sister with something that looks like gingerbread on her glasses and we don't have gingerbread, so this is odd we made funny ornaments for the tree this year and we make funny ornaments sitting here around the tree, so jolly i didn't expect to feel this way i was focusing on santa but the best presents are sitting here and they aren't even wrapped up
I love how Tina singsongy tells Louise "You love your family." It's a callback to Louise in "Wag the Hog," where she tells Bob, "Ha-ha, you like your kids."
This episode absolutely wrecked me. I lost my mother recently, and seeing Tina and Linda show up for Louise reminded me of all the times she showed up to support me in my endeavors. I really miss her.
I swear I’m not lying, I literally sobbed after the first time I watched this. And then AGAIN for the 5th time of binging this show. Absolutely love this show.
This scene and just the rest of the episode starting at when Linda figured out that Tina had Harley take over being the star so she could go support her sister cause no one else could really make it to the Library, I wasn't expecting to cry but I freaking LOST IT at this one!! Both this one and the last one!!
this was soo good its really nice to show siblings in this way it feel its more real.. man its hit soo hard this show is way better then most people understand. And i mean how can you not cry to this. Also the car drive home after was soo funny
This is the best episode in the season 13. Louise being emotional and showing that she cares about her family. Tina being the best i big sister ever. Gene saving the show. Linda being sad and wanted to see all her kids shine and bob trying to make them all happy. Noooo this is the best episode I cried.
As a little sister this episode makes me sob remembering all the times my big sister showed up when I need someone most. Tina is an amazing sister and she shows it so often. ❤
This is my favourite episode. I’ve been watching through the show for the first time recently and there have been many great episodes, but this is definitely my favourite.
I just watched this episode and got really emotional and tearful. I had to go online and see if anyone else felt this emotional after watching this episode or if there was something wrong with me, thank god I'm not the only one that felt like this lol.
its funny looking back at the original pilot or pitch episode whatever it's called and seeing how far the show has come and I will always love the episodes that lean towards the wholesome side with how genuine and well done they are
Hell even Bob tried to run there! He just got screwed by the cabbie. And then Linda was helping the other lady and felt trapped. So Tina left for her sister 😢
I just watched this and wow, I mean just wow. I never imagined coming from an animated comedy show, this literally made me cry, the music plus the story line was just on point.
Rewatching this episode a year later (added to my Christmas rotation) and just cry every time I watch it. Frick. THINKING about it makes me cry. So, so good.
Geez Louise, you really gave me the feels, I’ve never really felt proud of a fictional character before, I’ve never really been so emotional about anything before bobs burgers, it’s really helped and shaped me as a person and I know without this beautiful show I’d be completely different. I’m crying while I write this so thank you Louise and Gene and Tina and Bob and Linda, you’re really special and I will forever love and cherish you.
I come from a big family, the oldest of eight siblings and as we've been growing up we have grown apart because of life, but ever since we were kids Christmas was the one day we all hung out together and just had fun with each other. I'm thinking of reading this poem for them this year, I just hope they love it as much as I do and ugly cry with me.
I love Bobs burgers, I recently started to catch up on the new season and when I reached this episode I had no idea the gem I was about to watch. I had to come to RU-vid and find this scene to see if I was the only one sobbing while watching this. They really did something with this episode, never thought I’d cry watching this show 😭 this comment section did not disappoint. They really captured what I feel like the heartwarming episodes of the office, modern family, parks and recs did. Amazing.
This episode gives off the same vibe as sleepytime in the show bluey it's eminence love and a feeling of warmth that I don't think I've felt in a while. I cried during sleepytime because of the line "and I will always love you" and I almost cried when she saw Tina because being the youngest your parents don't really ever see your shows or plays. It's really beautiful
When I was watching this, I thought that it was sweet of Linda and Tina to show up at Louise reading her poem. 💖 Also, if you look closely, Louise is actually wearing purple pants in this episode.
😊 Bobs burgers ha always had a subtle focus on music supporting the underlying stories and themes, but this episode takes the cake in my opinion. The xylophone song and ending credits song make you feel like you just watched Goodwill Hunting again or Dead Poets Society. Just fantastic.
This episode and the following episode of visiting Bob’s mom’s grave were the most heartwarming episodes Bob burgers have ever done, both had me in tears, the bond between Tina and Louise as sisters, and then their brother adding to the ambience with his beautiful music, and then the ending shot of Tina and Linda being framed between Louise’s bunny ears, all just make this episode so meaningful. Me and my sister love watching Bob’s Burgers and even tho we don’t have our own Gene, we’ve always looked at ourselves kinda like Tina and Louise, she has more of a nerdy style like Tina, and I’m more violent and insane a little like Louise.
I hope the makers and all those involved in Bob's burgers, especially for this episode see all of the comments. This episode's story telling and music rendered us in tears! Thank you for the beautifully wholesome episode.
This has to be their best holiday episode and their best episode ever, I got choked up watching this. After trying to get her parents to Louise's gig, Tina decides to drop her thing and show up for her little sister and give her the support and care she needs. It was a touching example of love, family, and the bonds that bind us together. Great writing and delivery by the show.
As a 30 year old man, I can't believe that a show like Bob's Burgers can make me emotional to the point of tears lol..The heart the writers/animators/voice cast/etc. put into the show shows through!
Louise has always been my favourite character on bobs, but this episode she really made me tear up, it was heartwarming to hear just why she loves her family, even though she acts as the toughest character this episode really put it all in perspective and made me wanna call my mom
