What can he expect? Lol-in this country: no obligation to work, a TV and X-Box in his cell, all the prison brew and drugs he could ever want, hanging out with his criminal mates and never having to worry about or pay any bills… Trust me-the whole idea of “hard time” is an absolute myth in our pathetically weak ‘justice’ system.

I like what Ray Denning said: “Lock yourself in your own bathroom for two weeks and see how you feel after that”. I’d personally like to see more science/work done on rehabilitation rather than pure punishment

As someone who has just ended 11 days of covid-related isolation with a tv, pc, Nintendo and booze available (no drugs though) I am quite certain that I would not want to do 15 years of it

Ben ,talking about bikes, I suppose you are keeping a eye on what is happening over here in the east, one more dead in Sydney and the family being pulled out of their car by gun point of course, it about bloody time that the Victorian government has a significant long-term look at the way Western Australia is dealing with the problem of bikie gangs, because over here its out of control, it's only a matter of time before someone in the public is going to be killed, Stay safe over there digger plus, my self an the bride do enjoy your adventures through the news 👍 .

When we became the Commonwealth of Australia in 1984 the prison system Australia wide was no longer Her Majesties Prisons so instead of getting reception tobacco for free you get the equivalent in $ & an account to put said $ before that the old timers tell me smokes once a week even if you didn't smoke take them for trading desert & such also anything from 1 phone call a week to a day depending which State you doing time that went for visit as well

I dont know about your state but here in nsw is nothing like you said we usally have 500 or 600 on us and and our old numbers are already on the phone so when they connect it we on and most numbers will be the same as we never out long and never say your upset or thinking of self harm never say that shit

Mate when I was in the army I use to always volunteer for kitchen duty It was easy work and you got to sample all the best food Especially when you worked in the officers mess 😂😂👍👍
