I don’t understand as to how this isn’t in the lore, would’ve made a killer couple as they’re literally each other’s opposites which form to create a neutral.
Yeah, I mean Genji and Mercy is a very nice couple, but Mercy and Reaper would be like Tom and Jerry in a way, It’s not in the lore because they come from opposite sides that are trying to kill each other
LastTestament Okay so I like to believe that when Reaper was blown up some of his body parts were missing and destroyed and that's why when she resurrected him he turned out the way he did. She didn't want to see him die so she did it anyways and made him the way he is.
Doesn't make sense though. Reapers cells regenerate and die over and over again, that's why he can teleport and go into wraith form. I believe he was on the verge of death, picked up by Talon who tried to recreate Mercy's resurrection technology, but it went bad. Reaper doesn't eat souls, by the way. It was their way of showing that ability. The orbs are being replaced by hp stealing.
problem with this "you know what you did" dialog, mercy definitely had a direct hand in this To further elborate on this weather reaper uses souls or body cells, Mercy must have a soul to revive, reaper's was long gone when she got to the explosion. Reaper is a combination of mercy's nanos and the super soldier nanos. as long as his brain stays intact every thing else is intangible and replaceable. You can also go with the theory that even parts of his brain are being replaced and use that to explain his hatred of overwatch as memento syndrome
With all these characters, and their dynamics and potential dynamics with each other, Overwatch has tremendous potential for an awesome show. or movie.

The fact the reaps am mercy see the souls differently makes me think about how reaper sees the souls for who they are and mercy see them for what they could be. Just a thought.

Gabe is my favorite overwatch character so I'm glad I found this. I feel bad for him considering how he died and came back so abruptly and all the voice lines he has of being dead and how angry he is breaks my heart. But this is so beautiful and well done. I'm glad I watched it :)
This was really fantastic. This is one of the better fan films i have seen on the internet. I think you can go so much farther with better animation though. Three and a half out of five stars. Just amazing.
As a Reaper main those are the 3 ults you don wanna happen to you Dragon Blade, Tactical Visor and Earth Shatter. And this is the BEST SFM That my eyes have seen.
The animation was a little iffy at times and I had a hard time following the story at certain points but overall loved it the timeing and placing of the music was excellent.
Holy shit, this started off as sweet, lighthearted then became so heavy to the heart all of a sudden. It's amazing! Love how much you play with angles, too. That lake scene was so incredible to see! Subbed for sure, man
funny seeing how easy people get obsessed about video game characters to the point of making romantic fanficitional parodies... not that it's bad, it is still showing ones potential, however, it is still a burden which developers will never get to look at,you know?...having some character correlation between overwatch and TF2 characters might spice things up, as for me...I certainly appreciate overwatch plot and TF comedy
