That's not how they beat us. They beat us by shifting their press & making sure the spare man at the back was Gabriel, our worst defensive passer. We have sorted that by buying Calafiori. If Calafiori played instead of Gabriel in that tie, we would have been in the semis.

It doesn’t make sense… we get around 150 mil for finishing 2nd in the prem, we sold ESR 27 mil guaranteed. Elneny, Cedric, Tavares, Lockonga off the wage bill. We’ve only signed Raya and Calafiori we should have plenty left to spend.
