I studied at San Carlos Seminary. Soc Villegas and I are on the same year book. A little different time then but not by much. Then and now, the religious would have an easy smile for their benefactors and the well-to-do, but seldom for us ordinaries, maybe not by intent but by habit. Then and now they use the pulpit to politicize people often against the will of many parishioners. Numb and dumb by what they perceive as an exalted status, they plod on with the usual vitriol acting like they are the enlightened elect. Criticizing, demonizing, disrespecting peoples elected officials but doing barely nothing. Often, they will be the first on the streets encouraging a reaction, but has nothing to offer other than the usual distressing "bring down" rhetoric.

Ganito Lang dapat mag react ang mga born again Christians on the issue of Duterte, just like Pastor Peter. Mahinahon pa rin at Hindi yung parang naghahamon ng debate pag issue sa Diyos ang pinaglalaban. Hindi katulad ni bro. Eddie Villanueva na provoking ang sound and wordings ng pagsasalita niya at kahit pa tama ang sinasabi niya nagiging mukhang judgemental tuloy ang dating niya with the way he speaks. Ang resulta tuloy hindi naman nakaka bless sa mga maraming tao na hindi pa born again...

He is not referring to God but arrogant peopel who put God same leave his creation like (jesus and idol's)

That is what the pres and pilipinos who are not aware of God's word should know or if they still dnt believe they seek God personally..the story that duterte related of the creation was what was taught to him in catechism in his school days in the catholic school and did not invent it..sa totoo lang catechism ibaiba ang tinuturo wlang consistent and we cannot blame the authors of cath bec they also dont know .. what they have is religiosity which is innate in man for us to seek the true God.

PRRD has a deep faith to his God .. The context of his speech was about the Catholic priests god which to him is stupid because of the questionable doctrines and teachings... and the injustices, crimes, political propaganda the priests are responsible of...
