Should've watched this video before my recent interview. I'm horrible at interviews, I freeze and mental block takes over, regardless of how well I've prepared myself. I'm staying positive I'll get a chance to redeem myself but if not, I will definitely utilize this method on my next one. Thank you!
I found your videos a couple days before my interview yesterday and binge watched them. They just called me back with an offer on the next day! No wait! Thank you so much!! 😊😊
I had an interview today and this was the first question they asked. I followed what you said and it was such a hit with the hiring manager! He was much more engaged and the tone of the interview became more conversational. They even said I was a "great fit" who "demonstrated that you understand the job scope". Thank you!!!
I had my first face to face interview in 16 years. With the help of all your amazing videos, I CRUSHED IT!! I got a job offer and accepted the position at a higher pay rate than my current position! Thank you so much for all the advice!!
@@lucristianx honestly. And there are few reliable methods to confirm anyone’s answers. So it’s almost entirely interviewer discretion. That’s why I focus heavily on personality fit and keep my ear out for red flags along the way.
WiFi high-five!!! I want to thank you tremendously on the helpful tips on getting a job. I got a job offer to a job in the field I always wanted. God bless you❤️❤️
What jobs are people applying that they are asked these kind of questions? Entry level? The only generic questions I get asked is why are you looking for a new job and what are your salary expectations. Most of my interview is behavioral questions
I got a job!! Thank you so much for all your tips and videos! It helped me a lot! My background is in HR but I just moved here in the US. It became nearly impossible for me to passed the first question without being labeled as a "risk". Thankfully, I was able to combine all your strategy and build that "trust" with them. Thank you so much for doing what you do. Hopefully one day I can enroll to your advance class!!
Yesterday I had an interview and I used the tips in all the videos you shared. I asked them 8 questions in the end. The thing that was the cherry on top I made them laugh couple times. I recieved a call 1hr 30min later, The recruiter told me the Interview went very well and they would like to continue with process and they want me for the position. I just have to pass the background check and bam it's mine. The position I applied for was a program assistant for a non profit organization that is world wide.
I can honestly I watched your videos religiously this weekend; brainstorming my answers to prepare for the interview. I GOT THE JOB! 🎉🎉🎉 Thank You 🙏 😊 for your content.
Congratulations! Did you ask them this question at the end? I'm so nervous about doing that, I'll do it, but I'm nervous that it'll make me come across presumptuous because I grew up always being told "you never answer a question with a question."
After working under an abusive boss in an extremely hostile workplace for about a year I had enough and walked out. Using your advice and my own good sense, I found another position with higher pay 😊 It’s only been three days working at the new place but no one has made any belittling/condescending comments towards me yet! Thank you so much for these videos. I answered my job interview questions the way you suggested and the following week they sent in an offer letter. I’m excited to learn more in my new position as the work actually seems interesting. Thank you 🙏
I’m proud of you!! I hope I get an offer letter at this new position I’m applying at. I’m currently going through the same thing unfortunately. Belittling and unprofessional boss :/
Let’s just say I prepped for (2) interviews and rocked it! I got an offer by end of day! It definitely was a conversation at hand and the interviewer complimented me on the questions I had for her! Thank you love❤️
I got my dream job from watching all your videos ! They were impressed by the format of the questions I gave them. I felt it was half half of the interviewer talking and when I'm talking. More of a conversation style interview. One of the questions are mostly covered by the videos. But there was one question that was how do you deal with the stress of multiple deadlines occurring on the same day. When they asked why do you think your the best candidate for this position, the format from the video immediately clicked in my mind and they were impressed.
Did 1 interview after covid for a part time job, they acted like I was applying for CEO, lol. No wonder people are sick of working for other people. I think I will stick with my business I'm working on and gig work.
I watched several of your videos which prompted me to prepare my answers to the typical questions. Several were asked. Happy to report I was offered the job the day after my second meet the team interview! Thank you so much for the way you present this information! 😍
Honestly, you are the best coach/mentor for all jobseekers! Watching you makes me wear the same energy and enthusiasm you had! Why didn`t I found you before? If I did I`m sure I landed to my dream job months ago. Anyway, thank you so much for sharing your ideas, such a selfless act. You rock!
HAY PEEPS, IT'S HERE! Job Interview Secrets: Ace your next interview! Here are the Top 10 most asked job interview questions with the best answers. It’s the “Job Interview Secrets” Ebook:www.madelinemann.com/job-interview-secrets
I interview a lot of very technical graduate people. The people I employ, earn money for the company and I expect to still be around when I revisit as a pensioner. It's is important that you get through this stage to see me because its actually very easy to then find the best candidate. This vid is good advice because first off you will meet HR. HR will have zero technical knowledge and have no idea what is involved in the role. They like to think they are in charge but are just advisors. They ask questions like this because they are the first ones that come up on google. However, they are the gate keepers to many companies and you will need to engage them at their level and get past them.
Too little. Common feedback after my interviews is how they take about half the time as others do. I could never tell if this was positive or negative. I tends towards being more concise.
Amazing stuff here, WiFi hi five always get me, 😅 in all honesty I believe that everyone who wants other to be successful is them selfs the true meaning of success. 😉
Loved the content and the energy in this video! Also make sure to ask the recruiter/hiring manager for more info about the role so you can better do step 1
WOW. Just amazing and love how you talk. (I won't be able to talk like that even in normal conversation) 😂 But I get to apply your tactics already 😊.....
Do you have any videos that touch on 7 layer questions in one question?! 😱 I BOMB Those ever time!!! Tell me your mngt style, how do you spot challenges with employees, how do you make sure your driving results in alignment with your KPI’s??? By the time their done I forget the questions?? 😥
I can’t even express how much your videos have helped me! I studied, took notes, practiced and it all paid off. After 8 interviews I received an offer for more than the original offer at the start of the interview process. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!
I feel like I talk too much, but then if I try to be more concise, I feel like they are waiting for more. 😕 I'm fine tuning my interview skills for an epically important interview later this week so fingers crossed I nail it and get it! Thank you so much for the guidance!
I got the new job, it's a really great and incredible job after studying your content a lot. Thank you so much. I hope you have a great life as same as I found one after I knew your channel. Have a great day, life and be safe!
Madeleine you are awesome. I literally took the time to watch as many of your videos as I could. I took notes on everything. After 24 years with the same company I decided to walk away from a toxic unhealthy environment, first thing I had to do is revamp my resume then follow your instructions and finally after 6 months landed a new job with a new company. Thank you for all your information.
I binge watched all your videos, killed my interviews, and got a job offer for my dream job the SAME DAY. Thank you for giving me the tools to be confident interviewer!!
I hate that question because it is aggressive, demeaning and rude. It depends on the tone they ask. Obviously, someone at the job saw potential in me or I wouldn't be there. I would retort by saying, "Why should I work for you?" If I don't get a good answer, I would walk out. If they are aggressive and rude, it is not going to work.
Love your contents, there is so much to learn . I wanna make a request. Can you please do these interview question and answers for a Fresher. That will be of great help .
I have an interview in an hour and have been binging your videos this week - I feel better prepared for this interview than any before!! Wish me luck!! ❤🎉
Hey Madeline, your videos are great. I have a request, it will be great if you can do a video for Final interview preparation and approach. Thank you. Laukik
As a recruiter, that's the one piece of advice I hear online that I'm not crazy about when I encounter it in a candidate, which is when they ask me something to the effect of whether I think they're a good fit. For one, I probably haven't decided yet. If I had any grey areas of uncertainty about their ability, I have already asked my own questions to clear those up. But I'm going to review the entire conversation afterward and make a decision, I'm not going to commit to someone on the spot. And two, if I do know for sure that someone is not a fit, I don't want to lie and say they did well, but I also don't have the time to critique their responses and then wait for them to scramble in an attempt to change my mind. Just come to the interview prepared, give it your best, and follow up if you don't hear back in a day or two; don't use veiled questions to try and see if you passed the interview *during* the interview.
I just want to say I binged watched your videos and took notes and implemented them in my interviews. Though I was still nervous I was confident as well. Because of your videos I felt the most prepared I ever did even when sending my thank you email after interviewing. Within two weeks I was offered two jobs and picked the best choice for me! I will continue to study your content as now my goal is impressing my boss and actually giving 100% in my new HR role I start on Monday! Thank you so much again for these life changing tips and such quality information! ✨🤎
Thank you! I was doing a random searche for job interview related questions and how to answer them. Honestly, I didn't think of searching for this type of question because the company seemed friendly and chill. Then I saw this video and I'm glad I watched it because they asked me this question! I used your tips and I got invited for the next steps. Keep doing what you do!
definately struggle with talking too much - I used to think I was being "friendly" and "natural" after watching numerous RU-vid videos on acing an interview I now realize the interviewer probably thought I was babbling. . .
After watching many videos on job interviews I feel that they all seem to only focus on a business type job interview. I will be interviewing for a production supervisor role and feel very undereducated and unsure as to what soft skills I should use as my best self-selling feature. I have been working for the same company for over 20 years and feel that I cannot move forward as |I would like to within that organization and must look elsewhere. any suggestions?
How do you go from law enforcement to private sector. Non-profit organizations where you want to contribute to the community. Having a hard time getting a job while switching careers after 15+ years
@SWEETHONEYONAROCK....I'm in the same boat as you. I did law enforcement (non-sworn fiscal, for Probation in No. California). Upon retirement, I went back to school for a Master of Public Administration (MPA). I started out after degree by doing volunteer work in 2 non-profit organizations to get background experience. Then moved from No. California to So. Idaho. I have been interviewing with multiple agencies here for almost 2 years. Today I interviewed for an educational non-profit associated with our local junior college and the state of Idaho in my previous line of work (fiscal accounting). Using my college education, non-profit work, solid accounting skills and Madeline's tips, may have just landed my dream job. My advice to you--DO NOT GIVE UP! Keep trying! Someone will see the value of your skills! (PS-I interviewed with this same agency 2 years ago this month and narrowly missed getting the same position, as I was headed out of town for a planned visit. Won't make that mistake again.) 2nd time is the charm!
I am native Spanish speaker and I'll have a job interview in English, besides your great advices I'm learning key words and phrases that I can use in my interview. Thank you very much!!!
Hi, I have a question: I recently got fired from government county job while on probation reason said was I am not a good fit. I have a interview for another Position in the county. What do u suggest I say when they ask me why I am no longer in this position?
I heard a question at the end of an interview. I’ve never heard before the other day. The last question of the interview was if you don’t get the job, what will our company be missing out on I completely wasn’t ready for it, but I paused, gathered my thoughts and gave an answer between you and me. It wasn’t the best answer ever, but it was an answer. I’ll let you know if I get the job
How can I answer this question, include my compelling personal connection to the role and still flip the question? I crafted my response but once I give my compelling reason, that I believe sets me apart, I'm not sure how to flip the question back around to the panel. Any suggestions?
I was told that I came way too overprepared. Such a weird way to give an excuse. It would have been better if they said that they found better candidate. 😭😭😭😭 I practiced a lot and they didn’t like it.
