The scene of people on the island after all when they're talking and JB pulls Sarah up, Pope does the same with Cleo and JJ with Kiara too, to me that's clearly a sign about the couples going be explored in season 3, l loved!!!
YEAH he's in love but his friends are literally everything to him so he cares too much about pope's feelings and if it would ruined their friendship (jj-kiara and jj-pope and the hole trio/group friendship in general), so i think that it holds him back a lot u know what i mean ?!! :)) (im sorry about my english, it's not my first language)

I think we're gonna see them get closer in season 3 and pope will notice it. maybe pope brings it up with him, but jj just brushes it off because he believes he's trash. gosh, season 3 has to be the jiara season. so much potential!

i love a good slow burn. but like.. the fact that the writers wrote a love story between jj and kie without knowing is crazy. then bringing them in season 2, is amazing. but also rudy is such a damn good actor. like his faces when jj sees kie doing something with someone else. like hellooooo! also his faces to her in the last episode killed me. when he realized she was serious about going with him on the trip. and when he saw her staring at him, on the way away from the boat. or when he helped her up in the second to last scene. foreshadowing man. so excited for season three cause jj and kie, more of sarah and john b, and possibly cleo and pope. if it happens, season three will be bomb
i was so surprised they even put Pope and Kie together because in season 1 it was so clear she and JJ had chemistry,, but with the ending of season 2 it looks like they will be able to explore that more in the next season
I feel like kie and popes relationship was rushed and forced because when pope told kie how he felt abt her in s1 she rejected him and after that he started acting a mess then I'm pretty sure she felt bad so she kissed him cause she felt guilty and then in beginning of season 2 pope obviously felt like him And kie had nothing to common to share with each other and obviously after they had sex kie realized she didn't actually like pope she just felt guilty for how he was.
its because the script was already ready, so even if jj and kie had chemistry in s1, they needed to do what was in the script. But then we, the fans, loved jj and kie chemistry and the creators are considering it.

okay hear me out, their first kiss should be them arguing about something and jj goes to turn away from kie and kie yells his name and grabs his hand as he’s walking away and pulls him into a kiss and he’s confused at first but then gives into it. and bam w the right music just slow passionate make out sesh. and then it’s not awkward like it was when she kissed jb or pope, like jj and kie just both realize it feels so right but they keep it on the dl for a bit
tbh i was upset at first about them not getting together in the second season but i honestly kinda appreciate how the obx producers have stretched out their relationship so far and not rushed it. like it’s more satisfying to see all these tiny pieces over the past two seasons of them knowing it will probably finally come together cuz you can just see them subtly clearing the way for them to be together
I love Pope BUT I just can’t get over Kiara and JJ’s bickering and eye freaking intensity like I’m blown away with their chemistry. I got aboard this ship after that jacuzzi scene in S1.
The scene when Rafe talks about Kiara and he gets angry and returns to attack him is one of my best scenes and also when he wakes up and sees Kiara and they look at each other. My God
the scene in season two with jj, kie and pope. they were fighting or smth and jj points to pope and yells at kie "why do you always take his side" or smth like that that legit broke my heart
I love their character development, at the beginning she doesn't even consider him as a potential lover and As it goes, it becomes obvious than he is just there, perfectly made for her. They will be endgame for sure
ok here is my season 3 theory.. rafe and kiera used to date when she was in the kook world, that’s why he didn’t shoot the boat in episode 10 of season 2. there’s also so much tension between those 2 throughout yhe show, as well as that could be the reason why kiera and sarah weren’t friends at the start. but as we saw in the video rafe said ‘tell kiera she looks pretty hot for a pogue’ which again goes back to mine and many others theory (sorry this was so long lol)
I swear if he the writers don't add a jj and kie scene where they were arguing and then jj confesses his love to her and she says he always loved him and they kiss in the rain - I don't want it
Guys i think that when luke told kie she was always slumming with the bad boys he meant jj because they were just talking about the similarities between him and jj and then about how similar kie and her mom are sooo foreshadowimg at its finest
what warmed my heart was when kiara told pope she wants to travel and in the last episode jj said he wants to travel when everythings over you can see love fill kiara :’)

*Spoiler season 2* does anyone else think that Pope is going to be with Chloe and Kiara is finally going to be with JJ? Idk it felt like the producers saw that they made a mistake with Pope and Ki in season 1 and tried to find something so that JJ and Ki could be a couple without Pope getting destroyed. It’s just the way Pope looked at Chloe in the last episode of season 2.... I feel like they gonna fall in love...
This is what I think : Kie generally likes Pope, and wanted to explore her relationship with him. She was unsure weather it was love or not with him and tried her best to make it work, but then she realized it wouldn’t ever happen because they both want such different things. Notice how the writers tried her with John B, then Pope, and now the only one left is Jj, the only one she hasn’t explored a relationship with. That almost guarantees some more action between them in season 3 In ep 10 szn 2 at the very end when John B lifts up Sarah’s hand, Pope does Cleo, and Jj does Kie, that couldn’t have been a mistake right? Def so foreshadowing. And when I’m szn 1 Kie rejects Pope because she says she wants to travel and doesn’t want to do what Pope wants to, that was also foreshadowing episode 10 of season 2 when they’re locked together in the bin and Jj’s manifesting his surf trip and she wants to come! It all falls nicely into a perfect bow :)) JIARA ENDGAME WOOHHH

Honestly i get why all the boys are in love with her. Even though there all kinda mad at her and each other cause they just want to be with her. she still care about them even when they do stupid shit cause she just wants them to be happy.
Who else want this to happen JJ went to jail and kie bailed him out again and Kie says “why do you keep doing this stupid sh*t” and JJ says “ idk I guess that’s just how I was born” and Kie says “stop lying to me because I know that isn’t the truth. So why did u do it” And JJ says “ BECAUSE I LOVE YOU KIE, OKAY I LOVE YOU AND IF YOU CANT GET THAT IN YOUR HEAD THEN IDK WHAT WILL BECAUSE ILOVE YOU” and a tear runs down Kies face and she runs up to JJ and kisses him. For me, they are the soon to-be couple (hopefully) with more chemistry in the whole show, they fit so well with each other. I just would love to see them together.
I think they are gonna use this as plot in another season. After her and Pope break-up, they're gonna realize how they feel and try to keep it on the dl but ends up being exposed and then there is gonna be a rift in the group because Pope still loves her and his best friend lied to him.
