@@seandelap8587 right... There are many people who actually abandon their dogs - nobody says a word. Lily returned the dog because she couldnt handle it - she gets lots of hate 🤷♀️
Just look at her dad 🤷🏽♀️ Keith is an anarchist, always was and always will be. Technically not part of the status quo or the gentry. Lily is spoilt new money, and wouldn't go on a protest march like her dad has done. Her "music" was lost to me, boring and stupid.
Actually, the same time I heard of Lily making "music" was the same time I heard The Streets.. "I'm not trying to pull you, even though you'd like me to, I think you are really fit, you're fit but my Gosh, don't you know it " It was as if The Streets and people of UK were talking to Lily Allen and her creed directly.
If you can't handle objects getting damaged, don't have any pets or children - dogs, cats and children have been known to create havoc from time to time. If their mischief means more to her than the love they can add to life, living completely alone is a better alternative; live problem free at home.
I adopted a mini cavapoo Jan '23. Had no idea about her many health issues that even the shelter didn't pick up on whilst I went through the process. She was 20 months old and coming upto age 2 when her main problem starts to manifest. Yes I went through alot of stress and upset whilst trying to cope with her issues, but I persevered with the vets and got her on some great pain relief. She was house trained but not exercised so had very weak leg muscles. It took me a year to build her up gradually that she now loves her little walks. She is the most adorable, affectionate little fluff and I love her to bits. Lily doesn't deserve to own any pets if she thinks a bit of paper is a big inconvenience. That poor pooch, settling into a new home to then be rejected and taken back. Let's hope the next owner was more successful and patient with training it😊
There is actually a serious claim for emotional damage heartbreak and property loss against the rescued puppy, one stands to make a serious case in court against it.
Meanwhile (it was on BBC news online) there is a bloke in Birmingham living ON THE STREETS that can't get housed because he absolutely refuses to give up his pet cat. He won't leave it, God bless him.
SOMEONE - give this man a home!!! Even a room in a home, as long as his dog is welcome too. We should do a 'Go Fund Me' and raise enough to buy this awesome guy and his dog, a home!!!
I was homeless 19 years ago. I was given temporary homeless accommodation and told I had to get rid of my soulmate, Olimar a beautiful gray and white tuxedo cat. He was also homeless. I hid him and he's still with me aged 20. He's my whole world, best friend and I'd die for him 😻
Respect for him. That cat is probably one of the main things that keeps him going. couldn’t imagine giving up my cat and she’s a cheeky little devil lol. wouldn’t have it any other way. i let her get away with everything lol
Totally agree. Pets are not disposable. If you bring a pet into your home, you are making a lifetime commitment to them. However, when she said that she would never be able to look at him again, I dread to think of the type of life it would have had with her thereafter. As much as it wounds dogs to be adopted and returned, it would be better than being abused and unloved. Still I find her behavior unconscionable.
She should lose the right to have another dog. Rescue dogs are traumatised and to deliberately cause more trauma by returning the dog is cruelty and should be seen as such. 😡
Absolutely!! She shouldn’t be allowed near a rescue dog or any dog, for that matter. It takes time, effort and patience to train a puppy/dog. The problem is Ms. Allen, not the dog. She was too irresponsible and lacking simple common sense to keep items in safe, appropriate places. She seems like a very thoughtless person. Spot on Cristo, as always!!!
Very true ! - in fact there are a number of reasons why people should not be allowed to have another pet- I never thought I'ld say this, but maybe dog/cat/pet licensing could be a way to track people who either have abused animals or similarly failed them badly, and they could be made to pay a bond before being allowed to take another pet. Too many bad dog owners out there
My rescue bully ate my front teeth 18 months ago. Finally picking up my new pair tomorrow. The mrs left a few months later, but Daisy dog is still with us 🥰
@@kookytoots6755 and had the absolute non self awareness that majority of people in my opinion would think ur an absolute disgusting human being. What about her children?? Did they get attached to this poor rescue. Have u seen children with puppies, their instantly in love. Vile human being. Xxx
@@Lynda-vq5yl What's more likely? She's apologising out of genuine sincerity, regret and empathy for that animal? or She's apologising to save face and rescue her public image? Gordon Bennett how gullible can you be lol 😂
My husband’s passport got eaten by our puppy Irish Terrier TWO DAYS before our wedding and honeymoon. Our solution? Get a new passport..who would dump a dog for something like that??
@@airsouthwestfanvapid attention seekers like her make their living from posting nonsense online, she needs to get herself a real job and stop bothering the world with her daily tripe.
We got a rescue dog two years ago, she had a hard time being moved around and spending a lot of time in a cage. She hadn't learnt to live in a home and just destroyed everything, it took a year to get on top of her behaviour and on the way she cost a fortune in damage but behind those mischievous brown eyes i could see a wonderful, loving dog just waiting to learn to trust us not to move her on. Now she is the most loyal and loved member of the family and the best bit for me is i still manage to keep her mischievous side alive without all the destruction. My thoughts on this are , you will never find a badly treated dog tormenting their pack members if they have been miss treated and it's their mischievous side that has most of the colour they bring into our lives. She was well worth the hard work, patience and sacrifices of furniture and floor coverings.
I love hearing all this fabulous stories - it restores faith in Humanity. Well done you!! I am sure your dog loves you to pieces. I have a real issue with cages, even worse - people who chain up their dogs outdoors I just do not like that at all.
She's horrible she's a pick me, I'll be ypur BFF and sleep with your bf, selfish af. Who leaves important documents out when they've got a puppy and dont tell me she doesn't have a PA that does all her paperwork.
Why did she leave important documents where a puppy could reach them? If a toddler had gotten a hold of them and crayoned on them and ripped them up would she send the kid to a shelter? Anyone who gives this woman another dog should be ashamed of themselves.
We recently got a new puppy. He's now 17 weeks and he's a wee darling. When you have a puppy, you need eyes in the back of your head! They eat everything! How do you combat that? Keep everything that is important to you or could harm the puppy out of their reach! It's her fault for leaving the passports where the puppy could reach them. Edit: I once adopted a 3 year old rescue dog. He had been badly abused. He chewed everything, but his favourite thing was my boots. I found that out quickly and made sure I always kept boots and shoes in a cupboard out of his reach. He was the most wonderful dog. I would never have given him away just because he chewed one of my favourite expensive boots. I had a cry about it, but it was my fault for leaving them where he could find them.
Wife and I are proud to be the rescue parents for 49 rescue dogs now. We've been married for 53 years, and we've always had rescue dogs----no special breeds, mind you, just dogs from 6 wk old puppies to 14-year-old senior citizens. Our boys grew up knowing the love of rescue dogs, and now that they are married they, too, adopt rescues as the only way to go. Dogs do get into trouble; dogs can be messy; dogs can leave deposits in the house/car/porch/walkways; dogs can get into fights; and some dogs do bite. But if you show a dog love and compassion, and most importantly give it guidelines when it's new to your home, you'll be rewarded with a dog who will be loyal and compassionate to you when you need it. Dogs love unconditionally, and every rescue needs to be given a chance to adjust to new surroundings----just like people do. Some people shouldn't own dogs, or cats, and it's obvious Lily Allen is one of those people who have no patience or genuine compassion for rescues.
THANK YOU - for everything you did for all these dogs. You are my Heroes. The best people in this world are animal lovers and animal rescuers - compassion is not something everyone has. If they did, this world would be a better place.
I worked in an animal rescue and would certainly never entertain rehoming ANY animal to this woman. Puppies destroy things, it's a fact of life. She sounds like a thoroughly spoilt brat.
@@user-km2bk8zb4m since you worked there, you should know that what she did was much better than what many people do. In my country many people just abandon puppies and cats next to the animal rescue house and drive away
@@WhoeverwhateverwheneverTime the people of your country learnt to have compassion, you do not return a animal just because you were stupid enough to leave important documents where especially a puppy could get hold of them, children can destroy things, good job she can’t give them back.
Totally agree, the first thing our rescue did on coming home was pee and poo on the carpet. He passed away this year at 15 yrs, he was the best dog we ever had, he was our heart dog.miss him every day, she doesn’t deserve a dog.
I don't know much about L A but she's always struck me as an overgrown teenager, trying to get attention by shocking people. There seem to be so many of them in today's society.
She was one of those who said we should all take in refugees and then shortly after was complaining because she couldn’t get rid of the tenants in her second home so that she could put the rent up.
This talentless, skanky bitch has got to be one of the most horrible specimens to have ever (unfortunately) appeared on tv. Everything about her is vile.
WOW oh man, thank you for prioritising mans best friend or any domesticated animal as they have no voice but from a platform like yours is magnificent. Love your work especially the calling out of an incredibly stupid nobody with a now defunct platform of her own.
Before I got her, my girl was returned to the Shelter after only 24 hours because she dug a hole in their garden. 🤬 Ironically, she has literally never once dug a hole in the two years I've had her. I'm glad she did that day though, because now she's mine. ❤
My husky pup cost us £££thousands. She ate 5 seat belts, 3 TV remotes, an iPhone plus usual shoes, slippers, clothes etc etc. but I loved her and would never have returned her to rescue. She needed more exercise and training so both upped to produce a beautiful girl. Shame on Lilly Allen
Nepotism at its worst! Entitled rich kids of famous parents are invariably vile! Thank god she gave the dog back, hopefully it will find a nice home now with decent care 🥴
Could you explain how giving the dog back is nepotism, completely irrelevant to this tale. Nepotism means giving unfair advantage or favour to friends or family members in the workplace or other field.😒
@@daveericson8447 I am very aware what nepotism means my friend, her father was a very famous character in the 1980,s Keith Allen, if not for him she would be a nobody? I lived through the period, her music career was born of nepotism! Now can you understand what I’m saying or are you still baffled? Spoilt children of rich daddies are not pretty in my eyes, especially animal abusers❤️
@valprince5455 well explained. Yes, I was aware of her famous father, but being self absorbed, with little or no regard for anything other than their own selfish needs, are character traits shared by many not just those benefitting fron nepotism, would you not agree.
This was going on everywhere after lockdown. Adopted animals abandoned when they became inconvenient. But why didn’t she secure the passports? Agree - just stupid and childish! 👍🏻
@@alanhargreaves-thevoiceofr2361 True, Keith has been a nobhead, but I think Lily lacks the working class ethos. Keith was anti-establishment, Lily is pretending to care 🧐
I want to get mt head around this. She really needs passports because her ex-husband who has visitation with his daughters, lives in another country. Soooo instead of the passports being locked up with other extremely important documents they were lying about at puppy level and having no toys or food about the puppy did what puppies do! You can't fix stupid.
Dogs only chew things out of boredom, obviously she didn't have enough time to keep the dog occupied.... therefore she shouldn't have pets,... stick to plants, they don't chew things...
@@franciscofredericci4081 generally speaking if you don't engage the dogs mind it gets bored and chews...even puppies don't chew as long as they are mentally stimulated.... And just so you know I'm not judging her, although returning a dog because it chewed something does make her appear exceedingly shallow......I'm simply talking from a general standpoint of practical knowledge of animals,.....
Probably “ ruined her life” because she couldn’t pack up and get rid of her two kids for a few months back to their dad in Britain. Horrible actions but absolutely predictable by that “ person “.
I LOVE this man!!! His love for dogs shines bright 😍. You are spot on! I’ve had rescue dogs my whole life and work for a rescue charity for greyhounds. My newest rescue is terrified of everything due to being mistreated and then a stray. He’s chewed and barked and everything you can imagine, he nearly got me run over by pulling me in the middle of the road when he got scared by a man on a walk, he’s cost me a fortune, but you know what, I love him like a child and once an animal steps inside my house it’s NEVER leaving! Animals are a commitment not just disposable objects!
An abandoned dog has already been betrayed once, re-abandoning him /her really sucks. Having said that, what narcissist can expect to go public with such a horrible action and not have an avalanche of poop dumped on her ????
I agree with you completely. I have a dog, she wasn't a rescue dog, well in a way she was because she was rescued from people who couldn't look after her because of their drug addiction. She'd obviously been allowed to go to the toilet anywhere she liked. She was also a nightmare to take out for a walk, as she'd never been taken outside walking before so she barked in fear at everything and everyone. It took a lot of love and patience and lots of doggy treats when she did well. She's now a lovely well behaved companion, but it was hard work getting here, but so worth it.
What kind of idiot leaves documents as important as passports in reach of a puppy. And that 'ruined her life'? Ffs. Our rescue dog cost us a fortune in vet fees, broken crockery, damaged furniture and professional dog trainers. Oh, almost forgot, he also ran around me like a lunatic, tying my hand up in the leash,, and then dashed off after another dog thus breaking two of my fingers. Doctor had to cut my ring off before putting my fingers in a splint. I then had three months (unpaid) off work. Did I return him? Not a chance. He's nearly ten and I still have him.
Love my beautiful rescue dog. She came to us at 2 1/2 years old. She was untrained, not socialised, had never been to the vets and is still very anxious and frightened when she does have to go. She was very vocal and demanded our attention constantly, and was also very possessive with the football she came to us with and toys. She was terrified of having her nails done, but we made progress whereby we could use a quiet electric nail file. However, because of a period when she was unwell and we could not do them, she has now regressed and we have to start from scratch again in order to do her nsils. Everything we do with her requires our gentle reassurance and lots of patience. We do not know what her previous life wss like, but she would run and hide on the very rare occasions she did wet herself through excitement. She still to this day will not ask to go out instead she sits at the door until we notice. She also has old scars on various parts of her body. So we can only assume that her past was very traumatic and violent. From dsy one she was and still is the most trusting, loving sweetest little soul anyone could ever wish for. We started from scratch and treated her like a puppy. Basic training every single day until present and ongoing. We pretended to share her food. Replaced her ball with a different one and taught her to share her toys. She is rewarded with attention when she does not bark at us, which is very very rare. We are very proud of our little girl who has come a long way in 3 years and is the sweetest most loving little rescue soul we are proud to take anywhere. She absolutely loves people of any age. I will never understand why anyone would rescue an animal and not know that they have had traumatic pasts Even buying a puppy from a breeder you do not know what health or behaviour problems it may develop as it ages, but also if you are not prepared to train yourself first then how on earth can you trsin your dog? This is why legitimate Rescue Centres are so strict in regards to whom they home to in regards to the dog's mental and physical needs. People have to remember when adopting a rescue, it is not about what you want, it is about the rescue dogs' needs based on their previous experiences and trauma. It is not the dog thst needs training it is we, the dog owners, and before we can train them, we have to learn the rules and train ourselves. We would definitely rescue again.
I agree. She clearly knew nothing about puppies before she got it and was completely irresponsible in taking it on. She didn't rescue it, she further traumatised it. What an entitled madam.
Perhaps it would be better if Lily Allen adopt an illegal immigrant instead of a new dog, and see how that goes ? If it do not work out she can always return the ... oh wait ! ....
I have had three rescue cats. They were scared and traumatised and pee or scratch or hide (hiding is heart attack material because you just try to find them). I am down to two now (one passed away) and they are absolutely beautiful. To give back one of them would be impossible. Last night, Diego, the 'naughty' one was sleeping next to me in the middle of the night. I turned around and gave him a hug, and just said, you naughty boy. The most wonderful feeling to have a pet that was rescued because he was left in the street, being sick, and unwanted, and to have him so healthy, and yes, naughty, it is such a wonderful feeling. He could chew on anything and I would NEVER give him way.
Yes my puppy years sgo chewed my new trainers, my fault, of course. I held that dog in my arms 16 years later when my heart was shattered and I had to let her go. Truly heart breaking. A true dog lover knows what owning a dog involves. ❤️
I rehomed an English Bull Terrier 8 years ago. It turns out she was deaf. Did I give her back? Nope! I kept her, trained her in hand signals and blimmin loved her! She’s 9 nine now and still a pain in the bum (as all EBTs are) but I’d NEVER give her up!
My brother and his wife rescued a dog that had been used to breed. She destroyed their kitchen and still they didn't give up on her! She turned out to be the most faithful loving dog ever. I used to have her whenever they went away and I loved her to pieces. I cried my eyes out when she died. Still miss her to this day.
Also, training a dog is part of the FUN of having a dog. Stop leaving important things in places a dog can get to them. Poor puppy, his heart is surely broken.
Very , very well spoken. I couldn't have said it better! Disgusting behaviour to the poor dog 😡😡. Thank you for showing such compassion for that little dog. Wish there were more like you in this world 🤗❤️
She said in some interview how having children also ruined her life and that she would have been a more famous pop star if she had remained childless. She sucks
@@veronica4745 it just shows how shallow she is, with her money to complain it’s costing her a fortune and I’m sure she has some form of personal assistant she could have asked to do the necessary and finally it was her fault, my daughters dog ate her passport we laughed and paid for a new one story ended.
