Ezran is such a cool character, the way he navigates all these difficult scenarios despite being a child is really impressive. You can still tell he's in over his head a lot of the time but the most important thing for him as both a king and a character is that he cares. Cares about doing what's right and avoiding the mistakes of the past. Looking forward to some particular things in the next episode XD [If you know, you know]

Having a child as a ruler is one thing, but Kasif shows why I want no part of a teen ruler. Hot headed, impulsive, and no chill. Also, his dad was severely injured but survived the attack. We heard the names of two other rulers who were killed. Anya however reminds me of the Alice In Chains song Rooster. “Ain’t found a way to kill me yet.”

Aw yeah! Ezran NAILED it with that. Proud of the guy. He's got the makings of a truly great king.

Fun fact: A scrapped design of King Ahling later served as the base design for his eldest son, Kasef Kasef's early designs featured a scar stretching across his left eye (Zuko's reference????)

The creators of this show worked on TLA, which was hugely inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's works. There's no reason this show can't have some Ghibli magic in it, too.

What I really like abt the Dragon Prince is HOW it presents complex problems. Obviously we as the audience know that Xadia didn't attack the Human Kingdoms, but in-universe it really appears that Xadia committed this carnage. And when u r attacked, u need to reply, otherwise u r just inviting more attacks. So the motivation of characters like that prince is understandable. Yet at the same time, what do they do exactly? Attack Xadia on its territory? Then the humans will be the invaders. The best course of action would be to just stay put and try to figure the situation out. But that's obvious to us, people who know Xadia doesn't plan anything and isn't even behind the attack. From the characters' POVs Xadia could attack tomorrow if it wanted to. That's why Ezran's decision to not start a war is so wise yet so risky, and that's why that advisor lady said keeping peace would be just as hard as going to war. Really masterful stuff.

Summary of this episode: Rayla and Callum: *enjoying life, wholesome bonding moments exploring Xadia* Meanwhile Ezran: *political struggles*

"My rather made choices to keep thighting battles, that started hundreds of years before he was born. I don`t want to be that kind of king." There are humans in this world who live their entire life without be so grown up like Ezran.

I love Ezran so much. I also feel bad for him having to bear the responsibility of being a king at such a young age.

Someone may have posted this, but back in the court when Aanya was being awesome, the former kind remarked how she was more knowledgeable than his son... so that was some foreshadowing on what a hardheaded character he would be.

My personal favorite filling for Hamantaschen is poppyseed, but other non-fruit fillings include chopped nuts, chocolate, Carmel etc. Though fruit (usually apricot) and poppyseed are most traditional.
