literally the best heel in modern wrestling. Absolutely savage on the mic, draws heat like few others and knows the business. The fact he rarely breaks character when being interviewed, press gigs, or signings is a hark back to the 80s and early 90s. Absolute legend in the making.
I'm an old fart who's been watching wrestling since 1982, and MJF stands out to me as one who could be on the Mount Rushmore of heels when all is said and done. This guy is a breath of fresh air.
Can't wait for wwe to neuter him and leave him a husk of his former self who is unable to say anything savage whilst saddling him with some lame gimmicks and for him to still be one of the most entertaining guys in wwe
He can truly conduct a crowd, in seconds get them on his side and the next get them to hate his guts. He knows how to work the audience a truly lost art nowadays.
We're watching the evolution of a guy comparable to the likes of Ric flair, the rock, stone cold. We are witnessing the ascension of MJF's name on wrestlings Mount Rushmore
During that promo, it was censored for about 7 seconds and with every second passing, my jaw just got lower and lower in shock before it went to commercial
Uhhh...i wanna hire mjf umm i wants jim as a babyface ummm...we need mjp with the p being polo umm...we need to ruin the aew competition ughh. Triple H...writers...id like to wish u all a brisk go fuck yourself..we dont need johnny polo jr. Jk
My worry would be that he couldn't be like this in WWE and the Vince version of MJF is The Miz. If they let him be like this though he'd main event Mania
@@billybadass3056 he wasn't actually in WWE just used as local talent for things like security guard A. They do that a lot for security guards, police etc
@@douggambill5826 Well who's knows, wrestling have era's and The Rock and Scsa era is gone and now we have the best on the mic of this industry. And he is better than us and we know it.
MJF is todays Rowdy Piper, too bad he never had the chance to share the ring with Piper. That would have been something I would have given both my legs and arms to see. Piper was pre attitude, he invented this type of heel character back in the early 80's!
Speaking honestly, he s just perfect in AEW, his status of not top star put he in the condition of blasting everyone who s been pushed by tk in these years, he can blast every WWE superstar who transfered to AEW just for money and speaking honestly, he can say all the things he wants to say and in the WWE of today he will never have all this freedom
yeah do it and watch how watered down mjf willl get even under hunter neither vince or trips have pushed the new generation heels let alone new guy who perfectly embodies every great heel ever
Yeah but swearing is more realistic, especially for a heel. I also doubt that the WWE would let him throw water in a kid's face which has to be the greatest heel move in the last 10 years
@@preetchetry3779 How can you say that when you haven't ever seen MJF do a promo? Cause if you did, you would have known exactly why. I like Miz when he's serious but most of the times he acts like a joke and does some really bad comedy like the Dexter Lumis stuff
@@Sindr0mYEAH I have seen literally every mjf promos, so I don't know where you got the idea that I haven't seen any of his promos. Also what does miz doing bad comedy with dexter lumis has got to do with his promo skills. The thing is that it is easier to cut a promo when you have the permission to say literally anything you want. If Miz was in a TV-14 environment he would destroy MJF. In fact Miz is not the only one who can destroy MJF on mic, guys like John Cena, Kevin Owens, LA Knight are also capable of destroying MJF on the mic.
@@preetchetry3779 Yes, those guys are great on the mic and would make a great feud with MJF. However, destryoing him? If you want to see someone getting destroyed watch Austin Theory and John Cena, he got "destroyed" because he didn't insult Cena back and basically just stood there while John was verbally abusing him. In that case MJF would fight back and most likely win the "argument" if you know what i mean
He's a throwback to old school wrestling - Legend already. His mic skills are better than people that have been in the business for 30 years. Don't count me down you piece of ****
i mean i agree with the guy, what did he get from AEW? 2 rings? thas it? no title opportunity? yes he fought against moxley for the title and MJF lost so tony khan decides to give titles to ex-wwe guys wow.
He did get a title opportunity. and that ex wwe thing is so stupid. One time you say that these ex wwe guys are underused so that the should go to AEW. But when AEW uses them people get mad
@@spookymiraclepreacher6037 Well actually, that's what they were probably planning in the first place. Remember when Punk came out to confront MJF after his promo?
@@Sindr0mYEAH I do that’s what i meant. The show is hurting for a true heel. Look I like Christian but the storyline kinda is fizzling. Had a great couple promos then bleh.
I hope AEW and WWE can put aside their petty differences, MJF's music randomly hitting on SmackDown and Romans on Dynamite would break the fucking internet.
lol this comment section thinking this kid is going to wwe. hes been the golden boy of aew since day 1. just from a business perspective he's been put in every major program with all the top guys since the inception of the company and ppl think he's leaving. fellas hes at home awaiting punks return to start back up that storyline. the injury derailed that, and rather than put mjf in some other program that could derail momentum they kept him home off tv. its why christian turned heel to take over mjf role for now, and bucks were transitional champs. mjr should be back sometime around arthur ashe. once punk beats mox at all out and probably eddie kingston in arthur ashe, mjf will return there to a huge ny pop and the program will start up there and build towards full gear.
The comment section does not THINK he's going to WWE, the comment section HOPES he goes to WWE, Triple H is now the babyface in the "wrestling war" for most people because of Tony's mark booking. However, i would like to see MJF win the AEW title, but 3-4 months of AEW programs without MJF are pure torture.
@@Sindr0mYEAH Idc about wwe or wrestling at all honestly. I watch aew but im not a die hard or care enough to watch all the stuff. too many other hobbies. too much internet stuff on whos booked and how it could be better etc its pretty lame to see people spend so much time fantasizing over how danhausen should be booked better or how sami zayn deserves a title run lol.
Aew screwed up by not having him on TV all summer. They could have taken over in rating (imo) but like most things they do, they let it slip through their fingers
