Im a Cat guy but was equally impressed with the longer mono hulls....More impressed with how dry these boats are compared to other Cats I have been on of equal size.
I have a new catamaran hull form which was developed primarily fir sailing cats. However, noticed that it could also be adapted to powercats such as these. When adapted to powercats, it manifests as a hybrid symmetrical/asymmetrical. It is symmetric above the waterline chines, while asymmetric below. So it has similarities to an asymmetrical with an open bow width of a symmetrical. It would behave like an asymmetrical in a turn, banking more than a vee. Anyone interested in learning more and taking the concept further for powercat development? Cheers
