This is the copperhead version. You do have the gen 3. You can tell from way the extractor is attached. They shipped gen 2 magazines with gen 3 guns as well. I prefer the mpx k with the removable handguard because it gives me options if upgrading the handguard and the barrel.
I didn't even know this model existed. Sig does not list it on their site. I have an MPX-K that also has a 4.5 inch barrel which makes one of our models redundant lol. I wish mine came with the 6 inch barrel and that the 8 inch MPX was still in production. The 4.5 inch barrel is more suited to the slimmer profile of the Copperhead K. I feel the bulker MPX-K needs to come with at least a 6 inch barrel to make it worth while. I would definitely look at the Copperhead K in the future but then I need to increase my barrel to a 6 or 8 inch to make it worth while.
The mpx K comes with the 30 round mag and the folding brace. You have the copperhead k . It always comes with the 20 round mag and the collapsable brace. . I can’t wait to get my copperhead k .. looks cool
Thank you for helping clarify that - I didn't know the differences when I bought this one (great deal bought it quick) - and Sig's website wasn't super helpful - heck I don't think Copperhead K is even listed is it? You will love the gun - it is AMAZING to shoot. In one day i put over 500 rounds through... over 2,000 so far. flawless. accurate and fun. Let me know how you like yours and THANK YOU for watching!!
The MPX-K that I purchased in October, which was a recent manufacture, didn't come with anything but a single 35 round 3rd generation Sig magazine which are now made by Thril. I didn't get a brace or sights. On some sites, they have different packages from Sig including a sans everything, like I have, for the same price as the others. But to complicate everything, all Sig MPX's are out of stock except for the PCC. I picked mine up at a local store that just so happened to have one. They are out of stock all over the area as well except for a handful of 3.5" Copperheads. The PCC is readily available. I am not sure what is going on but I wish they would cut a couple hundred bucks off if this is going to become the norm.
@@sicilianlibertarian8417 man that’s crazy. I’ve been noticing that also . The late models are coming with no braces and still cost the same or even a little more.. and yes they now come with thrill mags which is crazy to me . Sig is very proud of their products who them prices. But I guess it is what it is to own a sig.
@@YouBoyJpres I paid a little over 2300 for mine before taxes. The PCC and Copperhead versions are 2000-2100. It's ridiculous because an MPX of any type a few years ago was only 1500-1600 and came with a couple of magazines and everything you needed including a sling and cleaning kit. Plus it is extremely difficult to find the "pistol" versions of anything anywhere. I'm not sure if they are waiting for the dust to settle with the brace rule or what.
NLA (Next Level Armament) has their Charging handle and also sells a LIFTER BLOCK SEPARATELY. Radian on has their Charging handle...Radian does not offer a lifter block. Unless you can find 1 of their older CH tjat came with a lifter block
it is not. i think some of the other models off it may, but this one does not. I have a B&T w/ a tri lug barrel - patiently waiting for my suppressor to get out of jail one tax stamp is approved! THANK YOU for watching by the way!!
