John Elmore if u cant hear don't make u a freak believe me i am deaf and if someone said i was a freak it would upset me i am 80% deaf it my left ear and it going down in my right ear
The episode was amazing and max done a brilliant job. I don't think I'll ever get over Ben and Callum signing I love you to eachother and Lexi is so sweet. What she signed to Ben at the end, my heart
I absolutely love that moment with Lexi & Ben at the end "daddy, don't die, I need you" & the way she gently touched his ear! She's very good using the sign language with him too, and the actress playing her is certainly doing a good performance!
The first clip I saw of Ben is when he said “I smell queer” from that day on I became a fan and seeing him grow like this as an actor is bloody brilliant.

EASTENDERS WAS AMAZING TONIGHT. MAX BOWDEN WAS AMAZING AND AS A PERSON WHO HAS A DISABILITY, I THINK HE DID A FANTASTIC JOB. Having any type of disability is hard enough. So, I think that it is important for shows like Eastenders, emmerdale etc when they have a storyline like this to do them correctly and I think Eastenders are showing what it is like to be deaf so well and even if your not deaf then they are showing what it is like to live with a disability.
This episode was so amazing. The cast and crew were amazing. Max Bowden was outstanding. I am looking forward to tomorrow’s episode. Ben made me cry at the end. I am just so proud of Eastenders right now. 💕

Who told him he could look good in glasses. Both him and Tony are good looking I can’t handle it. I love how caring Callum is towards Ben it’s such a beautiful thing to see
Got to say thanks u very much for this I haven't seen this and when I watched it I was in tears coz I had 2 special needs children and they r none verbal and I try and sign anyway I can to communicate and seeing this really got me I didn't exspect that 😢
Poor ben he needs callum more now just hope he help for the girl who was in it the other week she was great i cant wait for tomorrow i loved the i love you in it it was amazing tonight max is a great Actor and so is callum lexi her mum and jay great all of them
OMG..... 😳 that Ben is still going through with this stupid deal with his dad! 🥺 That Ben feels he has to lie to Callum and Lola, just to scramble to “prove“ to his dad..... 🥺 that Ben can’t physically hear a single person, except for Lexi and Callum, who both attempt to sign with him. 😭 that Ben almost gets hit by a car because he can’t hear it coming.... And 💔 that Lexi tells Ben not to die because she needs him!
I couldn't help but giggle when she twiddled his ears and just sweetly said "Even if your ears don't work" that's both so cute and so funny. Love Lexi!!
At least for a while, it will, but not forever(my guess)...for now I'm more worried about what will happen next with Ben's hearing. If he will go deaf permanently, how will EE play it out in the long run? If they will go for it, I just hope in a year they won't forget that he is deaf...

He just took the character ben and ran with it he's such a egnima when you think he's gonna do something he does something else ..x x he's not too hard or evil he can be soft and vulnerable and for the people he loves he's a complete contradiction adaptable he reads lips in prison which shows how clever he can be ... But also devious when needed with a clever shape wit and comebacks..x x how the hell Phil doesn't see how strong a person he is always so frustrating ..x x

Ben does not know what's going on with Lola and that guy. It could have been innocent or it could have been more but he doesn't know and because he doesn't know, he should not assume the worst or get in the middle of it. Stay out of it and let Jay and Lola handle their own relationship. Ben has more than enough to deal with in his personal life and does not need to take on Jay and Lola's problems, if there is one.
@dr103 the only reason this storyline is happening at all is so it can cause tension between ben and callum, I really believe that they are just using it to show that one is good while the other is bad, I honestly doesn't even fit with callums character at all. He is gentle and kind, the sort of character to give second chances and see the best in people
I am aware that police officers can be nice people, but Callums character could be so much more, part of his charm is that he doesn't need to be something in order to prove his goodness. It just comes naturally
Please EastEnders..... Don't recast Ben again. Max is by far one of the best who's ever played him. The other best ones were Charlie Jones and Harry Reid.
The man was just in a traumatic accident that permanently disabled him and killed his brother. He then spent the next few days not even knowing if the man he loved was even alive. You’d have to be a psychopath to think this is a anywhere near a “pity party”.
